I stuffed three more dresses into Morgan's chest, and she huffed, draping them over her arm. Today we were shopping for dresses for the dance, and they had been out for hours. Morgan had already found her perfect dress; a light blue two piece dress, the top was tight and short, exposing some of her stomach. It was also very sparkly, and we both loved the way it looked on her.

I, however, couldn't seem to find a dress to shine in.

Jake and Robbie were tuxedo shopping across the mall, Shawn decided that he wanted him and Lauren to go by themselves, which was fine with us.

This was the fourth store we'd gone in searching, and I was getting tired of changing into so many dresses.

Morgan lead me to the dressing rooms, and hung the dresses up on the hooks. She left me to change, and my phone buzzed. After I got into the first dress, which made me look extremely fat, I checked my messages.

I locked my phone, grabbing the two other dresses I had yet to try on, and the one that made me look fat, and I left the dressing room.

"Morg, Jake has a dress for me to try on. Can we go to Cheryl's Dresses?" I ask, not caring about what her answer was because I was definitely going regardless. I was sick of changing in and out of my clothes, so I was hoping this would be the last time.

She nods, and we make our way across the mall. We make small talk along the way. "So why don't you think Shawn didn't want to come with us? He could've brought Lauren,"  Morgan asked, curiously.

"Honestly," I say, "I don't think Lauren is too fond of us."

"I don't think that's it, I really think he wanted to be the one to take you to the dance," she tells me, and I was confused. Shawn had never asked me, only Jake did.

"No, that can't be why," I insist, denying what I had just heard. By then, we were at the dress shop, and I spotted the top of Jake's head in the back of the store. We walked up to them, and greeted them.

"Hey babe," Jake said, kissing my cheek.

"Hi," I smile,"so about that dress."

"Oh! Yeah, the dress," he holds up a short white dress, that was frilly at the bottom. The top had ombré blue sparkles. I couldn't believe I had missed this dress when I first came in the store, I had really liked it. "You'd look so pretty in it, G."

I grinned, I couldn't wait to try it on. It was beautiful. (pic attached)

"I love it!" I laugh, hugging him

"I love it!" I laugh, hugging him. I was so relieved that I finally found something that wasn't hideous.

"Go try it on pretty girl," he says, handing me the dress and leading me to where the dressing rooms are.

I undressed, and then stepped into the dress Jake picked out, pulling it up. I gasped. This was the dress. It was the only dress that hadn't made me look like an old lady, or that I was going to a funeral. I did a spin in the mirror, admiring it on my body.

I took a picture of it in the mirror and sent it to Morgan, before removing it and putting my regular clothes back on.

Jake was going to have to wait until the night of the dance to see how good I looked in it.

I walked out, and Jake pouted. "I can't even see it on you?" he frowns.

"Gotta wait, cutie." I wink, paying for my dress, and then we left.
