I slammed my locker shut, groaning as two of the girls Jake had introduced me to surrounded me. I wasn't very fond of them, they only discussed which boys thought I was attractive. They talked about boys they wanted to make out with, and although we weren't talking for very long, I was getting very annoyed.
When Morgan reached my locker, I excused myself from their conversation, and we began walking to her car. "They're so obnoxious," I complain.
"They're awful, seriously. You honestly should stay away, they're two-faced," she informs me. I want to ask her what she knows about them, but at the same time, I didn't really care.
We reached her car, and we both got comfortable. She plugged her phone into the aux cord and I was excited to learn what type of music she liked.
On our way to the mall, we listened to various High School Musical songs. My favorite, however, was 'Gotta Go My Own Way'.
When we sang along to this song, I sang Gabriella's part, and Morgan sang along to Troy's.
We were making total idiots out of ourselves, but honestly, we were having too much fun to care.
In the car next to ours, Shawn and his friends sat, all laughing at us. I immediately whacked Morgan's arm to get her to stop and pointed at the irrelevant boys, my cheeks flushing.
Her cheeks immediately turned a crimson shade of red, and her eyes widened. "Shit."
We ignored them as best as we could and continued our crazy singing, although we were kind of embarrassed that a car full of cute boys saw us.
We pull into the mall, Shawn and his friends following us in. We were hesitant to get out of the car, both of us nervous.
After pepping ourselves up, we decide that we aren't going to let Shawn and his friends ruin our plans. Who knows, they could end up being total sweethearts. If they were all as nice as Shawn, I wouldn't mind their company.

As we were all wandering the mall, I leaned that only about half of the guys were tolerable. The other half were obnoxious and I tried to avoid them as best as I could.
They would mess with innocent people, which sometimes would be funny. However, they would sometimes target elders, which honestly got on my nerves.
We dragged all the boys into Victoria's secret so we could get some more their famous leggings and hoodies. The guys teased us about trying on bras and shit for them, but I ignored them and continued to search for cute clothes.
Morgan likes Robbie. I can tell by the way her eyes light up when they talk, and she constantly blushes when around him. Its pretty obvious to anyone that she likes him, except I don't think Robbie noticed.
From the looks of it, he seemed to like her as well.
We continued to shop, until we decided it was time to go back. I purchased new vans, a few sweaters, some leggings, crop tops, and jeans. Although Grace had gotten a lot more than me, she was terribly failing to flirt back to Robbie. Finally, I had found someone more awkward than me.
Grace and I walked to her car, and drove home with me lecturing her of the proper way to flirt, as she groaned from annoyance and embarrassment.
Shawn's POV
I dropped all of the guys home, praying none of them would ask to come over.
They don't need to see my mess of a life, and they certainly don't need to know what's going on.
They think I'm fine. Because that's what I tell them, but they can't see through the fake smile.
I'm hurting.
Aaliyah is hurting too, but I'm worse. I don't let him hurt her. I take it myself, which always results as her a crying mess behind me, begging and pleading him to stop, which he doesn't.
He is my 'dad'. We don't like to call him that, however, he only got my mother pregnant. If you same the way he treats us, you'd understand.
We don't do anything about it, because we can't.
My parents are divorced, and somehow my dad won custody. Now, he's a dumbass drugaholic who doesn't have any idea how much damage he's doing.
The drugs seem to mess with his mind, so he doesn't realize were not his own personal punching bag.
They've never even entered my house as far as the front door.
But this is my problem, I don't need them fighting my battles for me.
I stepped out of the car and walked up to the average sized house and took a step in. Bottles and containers full of drugs and shit cluttered the floor.
Home, sweet home.
