Quinn's Pov
I started to walk up the stairs with Veronica behind me. I opened the door to my room and froze. Garret was kissing this girl. I guess that's why he wanted to bring a 'friend'.
"Uhh umm what. No..Garrett. What are you doing!?" I practically screamed.
"I I I I'm sorry I. I just listen-"
"No shut up, I know what I saw Veronica saw it too." I spatted. "Just leave okay?"
Veronica hugged me to comfort me.
"I'm sorry Quinn I was stupid. I shouldn't have brought her here." He started to look innocent
I couldn't give in so easily, "Garrett listen, it makes thing easier. With that we can break up now. You go your way I go mine."
He looked confused
"Look everyone knows long distance relationships don't work. You made it easier for us to break up now. So you and 'her' can give it try. Your obviously more interested in her than me. Goodbye Garrett." I breathed hard.
He nodded and left without saying a word. When I closed the door I began to tear up a bit. It kinda hurt to watch that. Him kissing someone else in my house, on our last day. Why here, why now? Why not behind my back, or was it already happening. Maybe he was going to tell me, tonight. Unless that was his way of telling me, then that's pretty messed up.
Veronica engulfed me in a huge hug, slightly rocking us back and forth. I gripped her back resting my head on her shoulder. She pulled back and smiled at me.
She tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, "I never liked that guy anyways. Always knew he was a little shifty."
"I had my times, I suppose. Whatever it happened, and I guess we move on." I plopped a seat on the couch.
"Good idea."
