Chapter 23

Shawn's Pov

I grabbed my phone and texted Veronica. I texted telling her that the time was soon.

She replied back instantly saying that the time was now. I couldn't help, but smile at the thought of her text. I have spent weeks with her, planning to make the night perfect. It was so close too, and I new that I was going to get it right. There was no going back, or stopping from here.

I probably couldn't have done it without Veronica.

Quinn's Pov

I have been staring at my dress in my closet for hours. I feel so stupid for wanting to go again. They are just so persuasive, and all the dresses just sucked me in. Its too late now I'm here right now. Veronica has a surprise for me, but I'm outside in a unknown area

I inhaled a big breathe,"Veronica, can I look now?"

She un-cupped my eyes,"Here."

I looked at around and gasped at the scenery. It was a beautiful orchard decorated as a vineyard with vines decorating siloettes.

I turned towards her,"It beautiful, breathtaking actually. We are we here?"

She grabbed my hand fake dancing,"Exploring seeing if this place is perfect for a certain occasion. Seeing as this gazebo is perfect for our dancing. I think it's just right."

"What's the occasion?"

She hummed,"Oh something."

She continued to sway by herself, humming a song. I walked away to see a office in the far corner. I walked to the office, and just as I was going to walk in I heard talking. The male voice talking sounded so familiar. I peeked inside quickly, then back. I knew who it was then cupped my mouth before I could scream.

I walked off to the gazebo, where Veronica was standing. she was now sitting on a bench gazing at the top.

"Where did you go?"

I whispered shouted at her,"You will
Never believe who I just saw in the main office."

"Shawn!" She shouted looking past me.

"What? How did you know?"

Her finger pointed behind me, to the one and only Shawn Mendes. He smiled at us, and waved.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asks us.

Veronica giggled at him, "Really? You know why."

"Yeah but I don't." I intervened. "Why are you guys so friendly lately. I swear you guys used to be moral enemies."

"Well not anymore, at least." Veronica said firmly. I could tell she was trying hard not to laugh. Suddenly I could find myself annoyed by their sudden like of each other. Maybe it's not all sudden, but I've noticed them coming closer and closer together. I decided not to let it bother me. Although it just might still, but at least for the most part.

I walked away adventuring father into this little place. It looked like a place you could get married at. I could just imagine it at night. With secret lights all on the takings in the flowers. I could feel goosebumps at the perch of my skin. It's gave me shivers thinking about how beautiful this place probably was. Or even better how beautiful it is.

"Quinn? Are you okay." I turned to look at Shawn. I knew his voice too well, that's I didn't have to guess anymore. He half smiled at me as he stepped closer at me. He grabbed my hand,"What's wrong?"

I frowned at him, "Nothing. I was just a little weirded out by you two. It's no big deal though." His face gleamed right now. the sun hit him so perfectly he was literally shining. It was so perfect, and I could tell I was falling for this guys. I hate to admit it, but I was there wasn't any use in denying it. As much as I want to, I can't, I shouldn't.
