Autumn's POV Today is Christmas day. I wake up and put on this.

Then head downstairs to mom in the kitchen. "Merry Christmas," my mom says. "Merry Christmas, Mom," I say. "Here," Mom says handing me a tub of chocolate chip cookies. "Thanks, let's go open presents," I say. "Ok," she says. We head into the living room and open presents. Mom got me a few new hoodies and a book I've wanted forever, The Girl I Used to Be. "Thank you, Mom," I say. "You're welcome, honey," Mom says. Ding Dong "I'll get it," I say thinking it was Max. "Hey, babe," I say opening the door. "Who's babe," this guy asks then I realized it's my dad. "Dad," I say and jump in his arms. "Sweetie," he says. "What are you doing here," my mom says walking up. "I found you guys," my dad said. "Oh, I should call Max, I promised him I'd call him whenever we get finished opening presents," I say. "Who's Max," my dad asks. "Her boyfriend," mom says as I run upstairs. I call Max and tell him he can come over and he does. "Hey, babe," I say as I open the door. "Hey," he says. "Let's get popcorn and watch a movie," he says. "Ok, but first Max, this is my dad he came home," I say. "It's nice to meet you," Max says. "It's nice to meet you too," my dad says. "Well we'll be upstairs," I say. "Door open," dad says. "Oh, come on she always closes it," Mom says. "Oh, popcorn," I say. We make popcorn then we head upstairs. "Polar Express," he asks. "Yep," I say. Then turn it on. "Come here," he says. "Why," I ask. "Cause, your cold," he says. "No," I say but I really am cold. "Yes, come on," he says and I finally give in and crawl under the blankets with him and cuddle into him. "I love you," he says. "I love you too," I say. Then he kisses me and I kiss back and he goes to my neck. "Max," I say. "What," he says pulling away. Then going back to my neck. "You're gonna give me a hickey," I say. "Sorry," he says looking at me and I get up and look at it. "Max, what am I supposed to do," I say. "Just put makeup on it in the morning," he says. "Fine," I say. "Are you staying over to night," I ask him. "Duh," he says. "Ok," I say and crawl into the bed and Max gets in. I put the blankets over my ear like I always do and Max moves it. "Max," I say. "What," he says. "Don't move the blanket," I say. "Why not," he says. "It's the only way I can feel safe when I sleep," I say. "Well you have me," he says. "I know, but," I say. "Ok," he says wrapping his arms around my waist. "Night," he whispers. "Night," I say and kiss him on the lips real quick and pull away. Then fall asleep.
