Cas woke up to the sound of his alarm clock, the repeating beep making him annoyed and angry. He slammed his hand down on it with more force than necessary and broke the object. He groaned and sat up.
that's the 3rd one this month.. he thought. He wiped the spit off his swollen lip with the back of his hand.
He stood and walked to the bathroom the was connected to his room. He looked in the mirror and prodded his lower lip that was visibly swollen. He sighed.
Great, just great, I must have bit it in my sleep. He continued ranting in his head about how it was his first day in this school and how this day already started out bad. He tied his blue tie and finished his look by putting on his signature tan trench coat on. He shoved a piece of toast in his mouth grumbling something about being late.
Cas began his long walk to school, his car in the shop. His older brother, Balthazar, Calls him AccePro, short for accident prone. Cas was walking down the road when he heard a loud roar. He turned back to see a black car reversing out of his neighbors drive way. The car started down the street and Cas turned back and continued walking. Cas could hear the car blare music as it drove past him.
The car stopped suddenly and and so did he confused. He started walking again only to stop again when the car started reversing. It stopped next to him and cas kept looking straight and started walking again, but the car inched forward with him.
"Why are you following me!?" He yelled at the stranger. whipping his head so his cool blue eyes could meet the strangers.
the stranger smiled and Cas froze the strangers eyes a piercing green seemed to bore into him.
"That's a relief, I was beginning to think you were deaf and blind." the stranger smiled.
"you didn't answer me." Cas said frustratedly looking straight again and walking again.
"I'm Dean!" He called after Cas. He caught up with his car. "Sorry, sometimes I can be a bit of a ass."
Cas stopped and looked at Dean with his "really?" face.
"Really? I thought it was common curtsy to follow people with your car then when they try and figure out why you give bad sarcasm." Cas sighed loudly about to walk again.
"I'm sorry, I just... let me give you a ride."
Dean watched the blue eyed mystery stop in front of the car shake his head and chuckle.
"You don't even know my name." Cas said spinning on his heel.
Dean smiled. "Then tell me, after you get in."
Castiel smiled and walked back into the car and slid into the passenger side.
"Castiel." He said looking at Dean.
Dean smiled and drove. Dean had turned down his music but Cas could still hear it, he couldn't quite make out the song yet, but Dean liked it, which for some reason made him like it.
"Do you even know what kind of car your in?" Dean asked when Cas started looking around.
"A black one?"
Dean chuckled.
"This is a 67 Impalla. My baby."
"I know nothing about cars, all I know is that mine is white and in the shop."
"I don't trust shops, they may mess up my baby." Dean said completely serious.
Castiel laughed and looked out the window for the rest of the ride.
