Cas POV:

Deans condition had only been getting worse.

If only there were someone willing to give up a kidney. But no. Bobby and mine went a match for him, and Dean refused to even let Sam get checked to see if his would match. It was quite frustrating.

It only took a week. One week he was doing fine. And then the next...

His condition dropped from "okay." To "critical." In a weeks time.

Thee were no donors available and things were only dropping at a steady rate.

"Dean." I pleaded, "just let Sam check, jus-"

"No. Cas, I can't. I can't do that. No Cas."

I started crying. "How could you do this. How could you let yourself die. Dean I need you. I love you."

"I love you too Castiel, and, Cas, I don't got much-"

"Don't you dare." I managed to push out. "Don't you tell me that your going to die, Dean. I can't live without you."

"Cas.."

A tear escaped his eye.

"Please." I begged him.

"Cas. We knew it would end like this."

"NO WE DIDNT!" I yelled before closing my eyes.
"No, I didn't."

"Cas, please. Please-"

"Don't leave me Dean. Your all I have left."

"That's not-"

"Don't tell me it's not true, I can't go back home, I ran away to be with the boy with the drinking problem. My brothers probably hate me."

Dean closed his eyes tight his fist tightening.

"Dean, don't leave me. How could you give up and just leave me like this."

"I'm not giving up I'm accepting-"

"Sure feels like giving up to me."

I stood up and for the first time in a long time I left the room.

Ellen jumped back from the door. Her eyes were rimmed with tears. "Cas, I'm so sorry." I took off down the hall, I had no idea where I was going.

I ran into a tall figure.

Sam.

"Cas is everything alright?"

"As alright as they can be." I said then started walking past him.

I reached the front doors then stopped.

I had lived three years of my life in that fucking hospital.

Bobby was drowning in debt from hospital bills.

And Dean was giving up.
