The next day.
Castiels pov.
Dean had given me his number and we texted all night. He said he couldn't call because he would wake up his dad.
I texted him this morning to ask if he was driving me, my car is out of the shop but I liked riding with him.
He said he couldn't that he was going to be late that he had business to take care of.
I was curious but I left it alone, I knew that if I needed to know he would tell me.
I waved by to my dad, Chuck, and got in my car.
The ride to school was quiet, I missed the warm presence next to me.
When I got there I pulled into the spot next to the one Dean picks, and walked inside. Today was Wednesday, my third day of school. I walked inside and my first three classes dragged on, no sign of Dean. Kevin on the other hand was at my side 24/7, until Meg walked up to me that is.
"Hey Cas." She purred.
"Hi Meg." I said quickly. I did NOT want to have to talk to her for longer than needed.
"Where's Dean? You look like a lost puppy without him. It's kinda pathetic actually."
"He will be here soon." Cas spit out.
"Don't get so defensive. You know he's gay right?" She laughed.
NO SHIT SHERLOCK! I thought "really?" I asked playing along with her stupidity.
"Yeah," she said buying it, "and he left me because of it, and now everyone either hates him or pity's him, apart from Kevin of course. They have been friends since kindergarten. But Kevin's not gay," she winked "I made sure of that."
I was repulsed by her, she made me sick. "I have to go." I said anger seeping into my voice.
"HOLD ON!" She yelled after me. "CASTIEL!! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!"
There was no way I was going back to that foul girl.
Suddenly I was stopped by two large forms.
"The lady said to go to her." One said.
"I would hardly call her a lady. More of a prostitute for power."
That comment rewarded me a swift punch in the gut. I looked to the side from my position on the floor and saw Dean racing towards me from the front doors, but this is a long hall way.
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" I yelled.
"What are you a faggot like that other one!?" The other guy yelled kicking me.
"Your just angry because she has you on a leash, your her little puppies, and you can't break this leash."
I tensed up waiting for the kick, but it didn't come. I looked up and saw that Dean already had one laid out and had the other pinned to the ground and was continually punching him in the face.
I stood up wincing.
"Dean." I said. "That's enough."
The one laying on the ground staring at the celling had an obvious broken nose and then one he was working on looked a lot worse.
"Dean!" I yelled and grabbed his shoulder. "Get off him." I said much quieter.
Dean slowly stood and gave the guy with the broken nose one last kick to the side and walked me to the bathroom.
"Are you okay?" He asked grabbing my chin and moving my head side to side.
I sat on the counter just as he had done the day before and let him clean up my face.
