if only i were a little taller

and my hair a little shorter

if only i were a little thinner

and my skin a little thicker

if only i were a little stronger

and my heart a little weaker

(so i could love others more fully)

if only i were just a little smarter

and my hands a little kinder

and if only i were a little less cute

and if only i were a little less pretty

and if only i were a little less harsh

and if only i were a little less reckless

and if only i were a little less picky

and if only i were a little less introverted

if only i were something that im not

then i would be happy
