Their flight should have been in by now. Kara and I were sitting in terminal B, directly outside of the gate... but nothing. They hadnt showed up.

“Nic, maybe we picked the wrong one..”

The problem was, there were 2 flights coming in, at the exact same time, at opposite sides of the airport. It was about a 5 minute run. Well, 5 minutes if you were running at top speed. Which I intended to.

“Alright Kar, lets go!” I quickly kicked my highheels off, and scooped them off as I sprinted through the airport. I dont know how far she was behind me. She wasnt exactly the athletic type.. But I couldnt focus on that now. I needed to see Jay, and I would make sure they stopped for her. I ran past a few girls that looked like twfanmily... which made me run even harder.. They couldnt have left. I got to terminal A, out of breath. I didnt see anyone. I was frantically looking up and down baggage claim and outside. Nothing.

I heard Kara come up behind me. Damn she was a slower runner than I thought.

“Nic. They're gone.” I felt my heart sink.

“No. No. They cant be. We've been here for HOURS!” This was not fair.

“Those girls I just ran into said they got in the van literally 2 minutes ago”

I dropped to the floor, out of breath, exhausted, and upset. Trying not to cry because that would be pathetic.

“Hey. Babe. Dont be too upset, we're still going to the show. There's still a chance you'll see them.” Kara helped me off the floor and wiped away the single tear that had escaped from my eyes.

“Come on. Tonight is going to be unforgettable. You'll see. Now lets go get something to eat before we head over to HoB.”

 (Jay's POV)

5 Minutes Earlier..

I know I should be paying attention to all these fans that came to the airport to meet us. But I couldnt stop thinking about her. The girl with the winning charm. I was scanning the crowd. Nothing. I couldnt find her.

I tried to put her out of my mind. I smiled for pictures. Talked to the fans. But I was broken up that she didnt come.. When Martin told us we had to go and we all made our way to the van. Once we were on our way, Tom, Max, Siva, and Nath just looked at me with concerned looks on their faces.

I slowly answered. Hurt by the words coming out of my mouth. It stung more and more with each word.

“She wasnt there guys. She didnt show up.”

I lowered my head and closed my eyes. Hoping and praying that she would be at tonights show.
