"Yes. You've had happen what so many of us wanted happened to us." Charlemagne said. "You got adopted by the Carter's."
I laughed along agreeing.
"But how did all that happen?" DJ Envy asked.
"Y'all want the whole story? How much time we got?" I ask...

Kodie was starting to get a bit of a buzz in Atlanta from dancing. She took Beyoncé's advice and continued to sing and rap. She'd perform in front of anybody.
Now being thirteen years old she still kept in contact with Beyoncé. She'd ask for advice sometimes and every quarter Beyoncé wanted to make sure she was doing well in school.
Beyoncé knew she hadn't seen Kodie in so long because she was busy with her new album so she decided to fly her out to Vegas for the Billboard Awards. Kodie was geeked but she also knew Beyoncé wanted to finally meet her mother.
That was a secret Kodie was keeping. Beyoncé never knew Kodie was staying in a group home. Kodie would make up excuses about her mom being at work all the time.
When Kodie landed in Vegas there was a truck waiting for her. She saw her name on an iPad. She thought it was so cool that Beyoncé would really fly her out for a show.
When she got to the hotel they took her up to her room and it was so dope. She heard her phone go off.
"Hello?"
"Y'all make it to the hotel yet?" Beyoncé asked.
"Yeah, we did." She said laying on the bed.
"Look, a security guard will bring y'all up to my room in a bit. You gonna be ready by then? " Beyoncé said and Kodie froze. "Kodie!"
"Yeah, I'll be ready." She said.
"Alright, see you then."
They hung up and Kodie just sat on the bed. She was gonna get caught up before ever seeing the show. She called her boy back home to let him know she made it safe.
"Aye, I'm gonna have to tell her about the group home." She said on the phone.
"How long you thought you was gonna keep that lie up?" Ryan asked.
"I don't know but I was finna roll with it." She said and he laughed.
"Don't even worry about it. She may not even care." He said.
Kodie knew she would though. Beyoncé had been invested in Kodie's life for two years now and all that may go down the drain because she was embarrassed about her home life and then lied.
"Alright, I gotta get going but I'll call you and tell you how everything went."
"Okay."
Kodie got ready to go. She grabbed her phone and headed for the door when she heard the knock.
A tall man wearing black was standing there.
"Kodie?" He asked.
"Yeah?"
"I was asked to escort you upstairs by Mrs. Carter." He said.
"Okay."
They got in the elevator and rode all the way to the top. Kodie didn't even know the hotel went that high. When the doors opened the guard held the elevator doors open.
