Kodie looked around the apartment. Everything was decorated in Blue. The living room didn't even look like the living room anymore.
Kodie had just woken up and just wanted some cereal but wasn't even sure if she should walk in the living room. She tried her luck anyway. She past the workers and went in the kitchen.
She stopped short when she noticed people cooking in the kitchen. All she wanted was some breakfast.
Kodie started to sigh. She walked back towards her room but saw Beyoncé and Jay's door cracked. She went towards their room and knocked.
"Come in!"
Kodie walked in and Beyoncé was laying down watching TV. Kodie leaned on the bed.
"What's up?" Beyoncé asked.
"I want some cereal."
"Then get some cereal."
"I can't. It's people cooking in there." Kodie said.
"You not bothering them. Go get you a bowl."
Kodie just looked at her.
Beyoncé could never understand how Kodie could sometimes be so shy but then she would think of herself and things would make sense to her.
"Come on." Beyoncé said getting up.
Kodie smiled.
They left the room and went in the kitchen. Beyoncé greeted the chefs that were preparing the food for the shower.
"Sit down." Beyoncé said to Kodie and she did.
Beyoncé made her a bowl of cereal and one for herself as well.
"See. Wasn't nobody worried about you." Beyoncé said and Kodie smiled.
"I know." Kodie said. "I just wanted you to make some cereal."
"Oh really?"
"No, no, I kid." Kodie said laughing.
"Yeah, Okay." She said. "You still a little nervous?"
Kodie nodded.
"Why? You've met majority of the people already."
"That's your side. I haven't met Jay's family yet. What if they don't like me?"
"Why wouldn't they like you?" Beyoncé asked.
"People haven't liked me before. I was in a group home so long."
"That's because they were blind and didn't see how special you were." Beyoncé said. "Sometimes I think God saved you for us."
"You for real?"
"Yeah. You're perfect to us."
Kodie shyly smiled.
"Is that a smile?" Beyoncé asked.
"Chill on me." Kodie said trying to hide it.
"You don't need to hide no smile from me."
Kodie started smiling.
"See." Beyoncé grabbed her face and started kissing her.
"Aight, Aight." Kodie said laughing and Beyoncé let go.
