Beyoncé sat waiting for Kodie. She was at her fitting for the vowel renewal. Beyoncé and Jay had been planning for months. Of course with the car accident and then Kodie's accident they had to postpone the planning but now everything is back on.
"I like this." Kodie said coming out of the dressing room.

She straighten Kodie's collar.
"You know? I'm proud of you and dad." Kodie said.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah." She said nodding. "When everything was going down I thought the worst."
Beyoncé stood back and looked at her.
"The worst? What you mean?"
Kodie sighed.
"You can tell me. I won't get mad." Beyoncé said.
"It's just that at the time I had finally got everything I wanted and then bam." She said. "You took us."
"Took who?" Beyoncé asked confused.
"You took me and Blue." Kodie said. "I understand why but at the time I felt like everything I wanted was crumbling around me. I thought y'all were gonna get divorced and then I'd have to pick who I stayed with and I didn't want to choose."
