I laughed along agreeing.

"Cut!" The director yelled and Kodie cracked up with Skye. They were shooting a video for her new track Bounce Back.
Her mom was stuck at the hotel on conference calls and her dad was still on tour.
"Why you keep laughing?" Skye asked.
"Nothing, nothing. I'm good." Kodie said regaining her composure.
They took a few more takes and it was a wrap. Kodie went to her dressing room to change and grab her stuff.
Kodie left the set and got in the truck but was met with a surprise.
"Ma, what you doing here?" She asked smiling.
Beyoncé was in the driver seat.
"I came to pick you up. What you mean?"
"I thought you was staying at the hotel. I was expecting a driver." Kodie said closing the door
"You ain't want me to come?" Beyoncé said pulling off.
"I know you busy and everything so I wasn't gonna ask. We came to Atlanta so I could shoot this video and I know you have conference calls and stuff."
"Well I'm free now. We can do whatever and fly out to meet your dad and everyone tonight or tomorrow. What do you want to do?" Beyoncé asked.
"Uhm, I'm hungry."
"Okay, food it is." Beyoncé said heading into the city.
"Uhm, so security gonna meet us or something cause I don't wanna get bombarded."
"Don't worry. Ain't nobody gonna bother us where we're going." She said.
"We going underground or something?" Kodie asked laughing. "People would stop you just cause you look like you."
"Shut up." Beyoncé said stopping at the stop sign.
Beyoncé glanced over at Kodie and Kodie looked at her.
"Why you looking at me like that?"
"I'm your mother. I can look at you." Beyoncé said before pulling off.
"I stare at you and you get annoyed."
Beyoncé laughed because it was true and Kodie knew it too laughing as well. Sadly that was the last sound Kodie heard before everything went black.
