Sophia's fingers twitched absentmindedly as she stood with Eric on top of a pile of metal. He was clad in his Grim Reaper suit; rotating his techno-scythe in his hands. He avoids looking at her as his eyes cast over the empty junk yard. The evening sky darkening as they wait. Sophia is not sure why he picked a junkyard to meet the Avengers but she doesn't ask. Her own eyes scan the place and she blinks due to the bright lights illuminating the garbage.

"Mr. Williams, I'm not so sure about this plan."

"Do you trust me, pet? If you don't that'll be very upsetting and you don't want to upset me."

"Of course I trust you. You've taught me all I know. It's just, Peter worries-..."

"I know. Trust me. He'll be here to save you."

Just as expected, Peter followed KAREN's tracking system to Sophia. Tony, Bruce and Thor followed suit to help him on this rescue mission. If the Grim Reaper was really behind this scientific testing with Sophia, Peter was going to need a lot of help. As Peter landed in superhero pose, Thor lowered to the ground using his mjolnir as a propeller, next to him. Tony was holding Bruce already transitioned into Hulk. The beast made a booming sound when hitting the ground. Tony landed gracefully in his Iron-Man suit and stretched his arms out after carrying the half ton man; for dramatic effect.

"Lay off the chips, Shrek."

Hulk made the move to shove Tony but Peter hissed at the men to focus. He spotted The Grim Reaper from a few yards away. The other man averting his attention to the four Avengers.

"Glad to see you all could make it," The Grim Reaper chimed atop a discarded metal pile.

Tony took a step forward, "what is your motive? You've assembled us to show us your newly kidnapped test subject?"

"In a sense," the Reaper smiled devilishly, "She came to me because of you. Much like you coming to me today because of her. I guided her and showed her, her excellence. Something that you doubted her with. Once the havoc is released I can wipe out the entire city. She isn't merely a test subject but a catalyst for eternal destruction."

"I don't want to hurt them or anyone. That's not me," Sophia whispered to the Reaper; the symbiote preventing her from getting that sentence out clearly.
His eyes cast over to the helpless girl and placed a unfeeling hand to her shoulder,
"What have we discussed? Think before speaking."

Sophia snapped her mouth shut and looked over to Peter nervously. 'I'm sorry', she mouthed and felt the Grim Reaper tighten his grip on her shoulder.

"The collapse of some of the most powerful Avengers while the city is torn from the wires out. Sounds pleasurable to me. See Iron-Man, I don't need to have a vendetta with specifically anyone. I just want to watch the world burn."

The Reaper then turned to Sophia but didn't make direct eye contact; as if he were talking to the creature inside her.

"If anything happens to me. You know what you need to do."

Sophia gave a curt nod to the masked man. She watched his eyes flicker over her bare skin, his hand chasing after his gaze on the goose-bumped surface. He pulled away and faced the Avengers again.

"What the hell was that?"

The Grim Reaper waved off Tony's concerned call out and teleported to the group of heroes. Sending a punch to Thor's face and the Hulk quickly grabbed at his cape. Throwing the man into a pile of rubble. The Reaper steadied himself using his techno-scythe. Immediately pointing it at Hulk and shooting an electromagnetic blast at him. The green man faltered as he got electrocuted. His pained screams turning into angered yelling as he charged into the blast. Tackling Eric as he grabbed him. Peter shot out a web to restrain the once powerful villain. Thor walked closer to The Reaper now tied up and lifted his mjolnir; his eyes turning blue.
Thor sent a powerful blast of lightning straight out of his hammer into the Grim Reaper. Setting his skin ablaze with a billion volts of electricity. Sophia watched on as her mentor burned alive. Then almost like her mouth was being pried open, it moved for her,
