The fight in the hallway had Peter feeling uneasy. He took the train along the Hudson that afternoon to the Avengers tower. After hopping off at the closest stop, he dashed off the platform. He bounded down the road, just far enough in this suburban area, before clambering into his Spidey suit. Slinging webs would be a faster mode of transportation to the tower. Alerting Happy of his surprise trip seemed unnecessary. A complete out of character choice by Peter, considering he loved keeping that man updated. This choice clearly showed how important his worries were.
Taking a tumble from a tree to the end of the long driveway, Peter scrambled to his feet. He ran and barely shattered the door as he clumsily made his way in.

"Where's the chaos, web bug?"

Peter removed his mask to be met with Thor; sitting on a couch not doing anything in particular.

"I have questions for Mr. Stark," he started making his way down the hall.
Thor nodded as he watched him walk away. Peter started walking backwards as he faced Thor again,
"What are you up to?"

"Nothing," he sat there with a smile.

Peter watched him a second longer and waved at him before running to Tony's lab.

"Mr. Stark," he sighed when pushing open the doors. Tony only greeted him with a lowering of his glasses and direct eye contact.

"There's my protégée. Finally here for a meeting I did not agree to. What destruction have you caused now, kid?"

"Not me," he approached him, "it's what I fear Sophia may do. She hasn't been the same since you rejected recruiting her. She's been dedicating her days doing things she's not honest to me about."

"A streetwalker..."

"Strange."

Peter whipped his head over to Stephen Strange who lingered in one corner of the lab,
"I didn't see you."

"I didn't want you to."

Peter furrowed his brows as he turned back to Tony.

"You have to listen to me, I'm worried about her. She's been training with OSCORP and she's being so distant."

Tony held up a finger to stop the rambling, "you said OSCORP?"

Peter only nodded while Tony looked to Stephen for his reaction. The other man took a few steps away to process some things.

"Peter, kid, this is serious. Sophia is being trained by a German run company. Specially run by the man who founded a New York HYDRA unit. If she's working with the Grim Reaper,"
A brief moment of genuine concern for the girl flashed across Tony's face. He pinched the bridge of his nose while turning away from Peter. These kids. He punished himself everyday for letting them expose themselves to the dangers of the world. It's one thing to be unsafe in a villain run world but to have powers? You have so many expectations and responsibilities, he admires the spunk Peter has. Though Tony could never stop himself from always having some sort of protective grasp on him. Peter is strong, resilient and a smart ass and Tony would be damned to see him be crushed again. Shaking his head he faces Peter again. That kid loves, if not cares so deeply for this girl, he can't help but feel the same protective nature for her as well.
"You might've already lost her."

Peter frowned now and crossed his arms, "S-she's just corrupted. We can save her if she needs help."

Tony went to argue but then Stephen walked back into sight,
"I looked at the possible future."
His face pale and Peter's brightened.

"You saw success?"

Stephen held back dropping the truth onto Peter from the look on Tony's face. He swallowed and faked a smile,
"You should assemble and find her."

"You have harnessed the power the symbiote gave you. Now, I will say the command that summons the symbiote to release your powers,"

He grasped at Sophia's wrist as his eyes pierced daggers into hers. She felt herself instinctively twitch at his grip but she found herself cease resisting. It wasn't ideal to be glared at so intensely with a harsh grip on her burning skin but the symbiote commanded she stayed still.

"With this, you can be magnificent. You can be better than all those fucks in Avengers tower. You can be the one to finally rip them to shreds and show them what you really are."

"Wait, I don't want to-..."

"What have I told you," he hissed but tried to hide the outburst by softening his face,
"You need to think for five seconds before you make up your mind, sweet girl."

Sophia stared back without saying a thing. She was chewing on her lip while he gave her the talk but slowly her teeth released her lip as she focused on her thoughts. The symbiote whispering advice to the helpless girl.

"Okay, I think it would be for the best."

"Perfect," his smile was bone chilling, "listen very closely. Steig dämon."

The German accent was thick and Sophia had genuinely no idea what it meant but she didn't get much time to be within her own thoughts. As she felt thick tar climb inward out. Tickling her throat, seeping out of her pores while it covered her skin like black paint. The symbiote created a protective suit around Sophia. Her blue veins radiating through the alien substance coating her skin.

"When you become your powers you can be almighty. You destroyed the weakness of the symbiote. Gods will fear you, heroes will kneel before you. You're a magnificent creation, Blackout."
