Narrator's POV

Beca had changed a little over the years. She still always carried around her laptop but now she carried two other things as well, a notebook and her dog. These were the things she would never leave behind.

She'd gotten ready for the show and was making her way to it while the puppies were in the back. It turns out, Luna wasn't all that keen on sharing her owner or her toys and they spent most of their time arguing. Beca would be lying if she said she wasn't terrified when she heard a yelp but every time she turned to check on them they were okay or Luna was sitting on him. He was a bit of a wuss really considering his mum used to always tell him off and the entire family would ruff (get it) house but she knew Chloe would love him so it was okay. Beca had a little bit of a drive ahead of her and decided to put on some music. She wasn't particularly in the mood for anything happy or cheery so she looked deep into the old playlists on her Spotify. What she found was something she hadn't seen in a while, her depressing playlist. There were some pretty old songs but this seemed to be the perfect playlist for her mood so she went ahead and hit shuffle.

Once she arrived she made her way in and got to Emily's dressing room while getting a few odd looks from staff as she was accompanied by two puppies. She kept the music playing and was once again seen with her trademark headphones, any one of her old friends would've thought she was back to her old self.

Emily's POV

"Knock knock."
"Come in." When I turned to the opening door I was met with a crate filled with two puppies. Luna I had been expecting, the other one was a surprise. Soon the puppies were followed by a short brunette.
"Sorry about the other puppy I didn't have time to drop him off." There was a small smile on her face that I hadn't really seen in a while.
It was only after she put the puppies down that I really got a good look at her. Her eyes were bloodshot and her hair was greasy. She she let the puppies out and they ran around the room like crazy for a bit but eventually settled down. When she let the puppies down I heard a jingle come from her and it was from her wrist. When I looked at her wrist there were dark red and light red marks, they weren't all that big but I still knew what they were. That was when I finally talked again.
"Beca, are you alright?" She looked at me and I saw the pained look on her face but it was only there for less than a second. It was soon replaced by a smile but it couldn't hide the emptiness I saw in her eyes.
"Yeah I'm good. Why'd you ask?"
"No reason." It was pretty easy to tell that she was hiding something but I didn't have the time to talk to her right now. I had a show to get ready for, it was in a couple hours but I still had to rehearse and all.

Aubrey's POV

"Babe you know the sitter is gonna be alright with Bella, right?"
"I know Aub but she's my little girl."
"Stace she's getting older and is gonna be starting nursery soon, no matter how much you don't want her to. You need to let go a little." It took a while but I eventually got her out the door. Stacie wasn't all that keen on leaving Bella for any thing. Not nursery, not work, not date night even if the little girl was already 3 years old. We were on our way to Chloe and Beca's house. We hadn't been before but Chloe had asked me to pick her up and I happily agreed. As always I was early but this time I had a hot girlfriend by my side. I'd always kind of had a crush on her but I hadn't really realised it. It was only when she had the baby and I went to meet her that Stacie caught me when I was leaving and kissed me.

I couldn't wait to meet little Bella. I'd always loved little kids and I hadn't seen Stacie in a while either. We were just gonna have a quietish night in with a little alcohol and some movies. I wore a comfy enough, white dress and some pink heels with my hair up. When I got to her house and knocked on the door it was soon opened by a tall blonde who was accompanied by a little girl on her hip. I guess she'd dyed her hair.
