Aubrey's POV

"Miss Posen where were you when Miss Mitchell went missing?" How could I answer that without incriminating myself? I was looking for help and I wasn't with anyone.
"I was looking for help because she threw up. She told me she thought she might pass out and then she threw up." "And how long exactly did you spend away from the group?"
"Umm maybe like a half hour, I went to check on her, we talked, she threw up and I went to get help and got lost backstage. I checked my phone and I didn't have any reception so I couldn't call her. When I eventually found my way back, she was gone so I went to our friends for help."
"This security footage shows you or someone who looks exactly like you and seems to be wearing exactly the same thing walking with Miss Mitchell out of the building."
"That's not possible, I didn't go anywhere with her I couldn't of."
"Oh but you could've. You could've taken another route back to Mitchell's dressing room, coincidently the camera's for the other route weren't working. Where is she Posen?"
"I don't know, can you please just go find her rather than waste time on questioning me for something I didn't do."
"Witnesses say they saw you and her leave the concert via her car. They gave the same description as we see in the video."
"That can't be possible because it wasn't me."
"Then who was it?"
"I don't know officer. Just please let me go."
"We can't do that."
"Did they see my face?"
"Excuse me?"
"Did the cameras or the witnesses see my face?"
"No. They did not mention a description."
"Then you can only hold me for 24 hours, you don't have enough evidence to keep me for longer than that."
"Miss Posen this is a missing persons investigation and you are involved, we would like your cooperation."
"And I would like my lawyer." I didn't want to pull the lawyer card but I wasn't going down for something I didn't do, especially when Beca was missing, hurting and alone. There was a blonde out there who had it out for me and she wasn't going to win. For once in my life I had to do the right thing, for Beca's sake.

Stacie's POV

Was it true? Did Aubrey hurt Beca? She didn't fight the accusations and just let them take them away. The only thing she fought was when Chloe accused her but she didn't stop the cops from taking her away. What was I supposed to tell my daughter? She looked up to Aubrey.

I went to pick up my Bella from the babysitter and she asked straight away where Aubrey was. She was only 3 years old, I couldn't tell her Aubrey was in jail. I ended up telling her that she was staying with Beca and helping her with her music. Two birds, one stone. She wanted to go visit them but I managed to distract her.

Chloe's POV

I couldn't believe Aubrey, that bitch hurt my girlfriend all because she didn't like her. She let us all hurt, just for some stupid joke.

She was still missing a couple hours later. It was long after the show had finished and the cops had gone, none of us really wanted to be alone so I invited them to join me at Beca's. The puppies were good moral boosters. Although, considering the circumstances the puppies still weren't quite enough to cheers us up. Stacie decided that she didn't want to go back to her and Aubrey's place so she called me and asked if she could bring Bella, I happily agreed.

Aubrey's POV

Thankfully the lawyer my dad had got me out pretty soon. I got my stuff back and unsurprisingly my phone was dead, at least I still had cash. I ended up just calling a cab back to my and Stacie's place. I'd had a ruff night. There were some other people in the holding cell, there was a drunk guy hitting on thin air and a police officer who didn't know what deodorant was. I just wanted to get home to my girlfriend and her kid and relax.

The taxi ride was painfully long and overpriced but I was so glad to finally be home. I must've spend a good 12 hours in police custody and hadn't slept in over 24. It took me a while but once I finally found my house key and opened the door I was careful not to wake anybody, there was a chance that they were both still asleep. I crept up the stairs to Stacie and I's room and found it empty. I checked Bella's and that was empty too. They'd left me. Now I knew what Beca had felt like all those years we didn't understand what was going on, all alone with no where to turn. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't upset. I tried to cry and just get it all out but I couldn't, I guess that's the most painful type of pain. The kind you can't get out.
