Chapter 11: Him and I

Hyun Jae's P.O.V

Sungjae came at the right time, I knew what I was doing and I was tired of people believing that I

wanted attention when I didn't. He saved my life. I was thankful. Two days later, I headed to the school.

Somehow, no one seemed to have found out about what I wanted to do. I was about to close my

locker when I felt someone behind me. I turned around and it was, Taehyung. "What do you want?" I

asked him. "Let's hangout!" He says. 'What about your girlfriend?" I said. "I broke up with her, come on

let's go." He said as I closed the locker door. Then he drags me to the roof. I get scared for a moment

remembering what had happened. We both go in together and sit down. We stare at the baby blue

shaded sky, with small hints of clouds showing. "Isn't it beautiful?" He asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Why

did you try to do what you did?" He asked. My eyes widen but I tried to act normal so I simply said,

"What do you mean?" "Saturday, you tried to kill yourself, why?" He said. "That wasn't me." I said.

"That was. Sungjae would have never saved someone unless they were important him." Taehyung said.

"I- I'm important to him?" I said. "Something must have happened? Did something happen?" He

asked. I gulped. "What happened?" He asked. I looked at him and said, "I- I kissed him." His eyes

widen. "When?" He asked. "Friday, at my house." I said. He started to get angry. I noticed and said,

"What is wrong with you?" He grabbed my wrist and made us both stand up. "What is wrong is that

you don't seem to notice that I'm jealous." He said. My eyes widen and I had to ask, "Why?" "Because

you and Sungjae seem so close together. When I saw what happened, I was angry that I wasn't the

one who had saved you. I threatened everyone to not say anything about what had happened or else

they were going to pay. I like you and a lot." He said. "W- what about Jeon Hyun Jae or Jeon So Rin?" I

asked. "I don't like So Rin and sometimes I feel as if you were Hyun Jae. But I like you and I need to

move on. I need to ask you this one thing." He said. "W- what?" I asked frozen in place. "Would you be

my girlfriend?" He asked. My eyes widen as I stood there. I didn't know what to say.
