Chapter 15: Opening my heart to him

Hyun Jae's P.O.V

Throughout the whole day, Taehyung and I were always next to each other and talking, I haven't seen So

Rin around all day. In Dance (Last class of the day):

"So I will choose your partners for the festival okay." Ms. Lee said, we all nodded. After she was done,

she told us to discuss what we will do with our partners. My partner is Taehyung, I got angry (but

didn't show it) when Ms. Lee said that Irene and Sungjae were partners. Tae and I discussed what we

will do, then he said, "Hyun Jae, want to hangout after school?" "Should be fun than staying at home

so yeah, let's hangout." I said. I overheard Irene and Sungjae's talk, "So Irene, what song do you want

to dance to?" He said. "I don't know, whatever you want Oppa." She said. "Oppa?" I repeated in my

mind. When she said that word to him, it triggered me. I decided to calm myself down since I was still

in front of Tae. "Oppa, where will go after school?" I asked him. "Since when did you start calling me

oppa?" He asked. "Since now, I thought it was a suitable name since we're dating and you're 2 months

older than me. But if you don't like it I won-" I wasn't able to finish my sentence because he said, "No I

like it, call me that." He looked at me with a smile. I smiled too, but he can't notice since I was wearing

my mask, "I know you don't notice it, but I'm smiling too." I said as I looked up to him, he was taller

than me, don't judge my short ass self. Then the bell rang, "Class dismissed." Ms. Lee said loudly. We

all leave. I was putting my things away in my locker when someone stands next to my locker. I

assumed it was Taehyung so I said, "Oppa, I'm not ready to leave yet, just wait a minute." But then I

realized it wasn't him as soon as the guy said, "Oppa? That's new." I looked up and saw Sungjae. "Oh, I

thought you were Taehyung, I'm sorry Sungjae." I said. His expression changed from Happy to slightly

sad as soon as I mentioned Taehyung. "I came here to ask, Do you know where Irene went?" He said,

my heart went sad again but my face expression stayed the same. "No." I said. "Hyun Jae!!!" I heard

someone yell. I looked to the entrance of the hall and saw Taehyung. I closed my locker door. He came

to me and Sungjae. "Hey Sungjae." Taehyung said. "Hey Taehyung." Sungjae said. "Sungjae good luck

finding Irene, but right now Taehyung oppa and I have to go, we're going on a date." I said. "Okay, bye

guys." He said and both of us waved bye. "Shall we head out then?" Taehyung asked. I nodded. We left

the school holding hands, "Hyun Jae, we are going to go to May Ocean Amusement Park." He said. I

was so surprised. "Really!! I always wanted to go there!!" I said. I hugged him.

Upon Arrival at May Ocean Amusement Park

I was too excited. "Where will we go first!!" I said to Tae excitedly. "Anywhere you want!!" He said with

a smile. I was head over heels excited. "Tae let's go there." I said pointing at a rollercoaster. "You sure?"

He asked with a bit of a scared voice. I didn't even hear him as I grabbed his hand and we headed to

the coaster. We went on it and it was too exciting. On the other hand, for Taehyung, it was scary as

hell. While on the ride before the tremendous drop, Taehyung was practically screaming and closed his

eyes. To quite him down on the drop, I cupped his face and kissed him. He stood there frozen and not

moving, either from the shock of me kissing him or he was still scared but didn't feel like screaming. I

pulled back after the drop, "You won't scream anymore and if you feel like it, close your eyes and hug

me." I said to him. He nodded. The rest of the ride was fun, especially when Tae began to enjoy the

ride. The ride ended and we went to more rides. Today was fun and I enjoyed it. Then, Taehyung and I,

entered a "restaurant" at the park, Taehyung went to order us food. I waited and while waiting I saw

something I wish I didn't see. I looked out the window and saw Irene and Sungjae, kissing. I looked

away, "How are they able to appear everywhere Taehyung and I go?" I said to myself. Taehyung arrives

to our table with the food. I immediately forget about what happened as soon as I saw the food. I

smile and say, "Yay Food!!" He smiles and sets the food on the table, then notices Sungjae and Irene

outside. "Oh look who's here too." He says pointing through the window. I look and pretend to be

shocked. "Oh. Sungjae and Irene are here too!" I said. "Let them continue their date, while we begin to

eat." I said looking at the food. He smiles and we begin to eat. After we finished eating we went to

more rides. Eventually it became dark. "Do you want me to take you to your house?" He asked. I

nodded.

Arriving at Hyun Jae's House

"Today was fun." I said as we stopped in front of my house. He smiled. "I really hoped you enjoyed it."

He said. "I did, it was fun." I said. "Can I ask you something?" He said. I nodded. "Why do you cover

your face?" He asked. I couldn't seem scared or tensed so I just replied with, "I just don't want to show

it, I believe right now is not the time to show it." "I understand." He said. "Well, I'll go inside now." I

said. He nodded. But before he turned to leave, I kissed him on his cheek. "Be safe." I said. He nodded.

He left and I entered my house. "How was it?" I heard someone say. I turned to see my mom in the

kitchen. "It was fun." I said as I removed my mask. "Glad to hear sweetie, hurry and wash your hands,

dinner is ready." She said. "Okay mom." I replied.
