Chapter 12: My response

Hyun Jae's P.O.V (After school)

"I can't believe I did that. Oh my lord what do I now!" I said to myself. "What do you mean?" Irene

asked. "I forgot you were with me, I'll explain later, let's go to my house." I said as I dragged her. We

went inside my house and I saw my mom, "Hi mom, this is my friend Irene." I said. "Hello Irene, my

name is Rose." She said. "Nice to meet you." Irene replied. "Mom, we'll be upstairs." I said. My mom

nodded, Irene and I dashed up the staircase and into my room. "Tell me what's going on!" Irene said. I

told her everything starting at the point of when I kissed Sungjae to today when Taehyung asked me

out. I told her my response and her immediate reaction was, "YOU DID WHAT!!!" She yelled. "I know, I

couldn't say anything." I said. Right now I bet you wanna know what I said right, here's a flashback to

that moment.

Flashback

My eyes widen as I stood there. I didn't know what to say. In that moment, my brain wasn't thinking

anymore. "I um, I.." I said. "It's fine if you don't want to go out with me." He said, then he turned

around and headed for the door, as he was going to turn the knob I said, "Wait." He turned around

and I said, "I do, I want to be your girlfriend." In his face a smile appeared. In that moment, my brain

wasn't thinking, but my heart had to say what was left in it. He hugged me and carried me in the air. I,

myself, wasn't even sure if this was the right choice. But I (Min Hyun Jae) didn't make that choice, it

was Jeon Hyun Jae who did, she was the one who still had feelings for him. I didn't know if I had them

left, but I believed I did, because my heart races when I see him and only him.

End of Flashback

"You don't know how angry So Rin will get!!" Irene sort of yells. "I do know how she gets, I've lived

with her for like 12 years." I said. "Do you really like him?" She asked me. "I think so." I replied, she

gave me this face that was saying, "You sure about that?" "Something is going on... Someone else is

involved. Right?" She said. I looked down. "Who is it?" She asked. I didn't say anything. "Is it maybe,

Sungjae?" She asked. My face quickly turned red as I began to remember what happened. "It is!!!" She

said. "What happened that made you go all blush blush when you hear his name?" She said excitingly.

"N-nothing." I quickly responded. She raised her eyebrows. "Did you guys... Kiss!" She said with a

bright smile. I was still looking down, when she said that, my eyes widen completely. "You guys did!!"

Irene said. She was practically fangirling. She suddenly paused and slowly turned around to face me.

"If you like Sungjae, why don't you tell him how you feel?" She asked. "Because remember, he likes

Eun Ae! Or however that girl is." I said. "Is that why you left to the bathroom, because you were

jealous?" She asked. I couldn't tell her the truth, not this one, I didn't know why, I couldn't tell her so I

just simply nodded. "Oh lord, wait so you do or you don't like Taehyung?" She asked. "I feel that my

old self is still in love with him but this self is not sure, I want to give him a chance." I replied. She

mouthed an oh. "It's your choice, I have to go home." She said. I nodded and she left my room. "What

do I do now!!" I said as I squished a pillow.
