Chapter 18: Jealousy and Trust

Hyun Jae's P.O.V

So far my feelings for Taehyung have risen from their grave, however my feelings for Sungjae have

died. Taehyung and I have continued practicing for the festival. When we were in Science class he

teacher Mr. Wang said, "Class I will put you in pairs for the end of they year project." He gave everyone

partners. I was partners with Sungjae, meanwhile Irene and Taehyung were partners. She is my best

friend and all but I still get jealous to see him with her. "Mr. Lee can't I be partners with Sungjae?"

Irene asks. "No, the partners were decided at random. Start discussing your plan." Mr. Lee says. I look

at Sungjae and say, "What should we do then?" "I was thinking doing something along the lines of

Space or something." He said. "Space should be fun. Let's try it, what should be our problem

question?" I asked. We then were talking about our project.

Taehyung's P.O.V

Irene and I were talking about the project but I couldn't take my eyes off of Hyun Jae. She was smiling

and laughing with Sungjae. "You're jealous too, right?" I heard someone say, I look and it was Irene, I

forgot she was here. "Yeah, can't bear and look at her with him, after what she told me before." I said.

"I know, me too, but she's my best friend and I know she wouldn't do something with him, especially

since now I know she likes you and a lot." She said. "Well we just have to trust them enough that they

won't do anything behind our backs." I said and she nods in agreement. "Why did you like Hyun Jae?"

She said suddenly. "Because she different and really kind. Even though she doesn't show her face, she

is pretty and has a good personality." I replied. "Not that Hyun Jae." She said pointing at Hyun Jae.

"Jeon Hyun Jae." She said. "Oh her, because she even if people considered her ugly, I considered her

pretty both inside and out. I had to bully her cause I felt pressured, when she wanted to give me a

bracelet, I rejected it because my friend was nearby and I knew he was hearing the whole thing, I really

wished he wasn't there in that moment, I would have received it gladly. But I later found out through

So Rin that she gave that bracelet to another boy, I got jealous." I said. Then she had an expression as

if she were in a long thought.

Irene's P.O.V

When Taehyung said how Hyun Jae gave him a bracelet but he rejected it and then later on found out

she gave that bracelet to another guy, I was similar to the story that SungJae said. "How old were you

at the time?" I asked. "12 years old." He replied. "How did the bracelet look like?" I asked. "It was half

of a heart, she had the other half." He replied. "Is it possible that Hyun Jae could be Eun Ae?" I said to

myself. "I think I know who that other guy may be." I said to him. "Who?" He asked. "My boyfriend." I

said. He looks at me with a confused face. "Sungjae? How?" He asked. "Ask him yourself." I said as the

bell rang. I got up and got my things, but as soon as I was about to leave, I see Hyun Jae and Sungjae

hugging, I tap Taehyung and when I have his attention, I point at them. I see Jealousy rising in his face.

I leave as I didn't want to watch more.

Hyun Jae's P.O.V

Sungjae came up with our project and we decided to go off topic for a bit. "Sungjae why did you ask

Irene out?" I asked. "I didn't, she confessed to me first and I wondered a bit and I thought going out

with her would help me get to know her better so I said yes." He replied. "How's things with

Taehyung?" He asked. "Fine it's just that, I don't feel good not seeing my twin." I said. "I got it." He

said. I looked at him. "Pretend to be her." He whispered. My eyes widen. "Are you crazy, what if she

comes back on one of the days that I act like her, people will think she's me." I whispered. "Give it a

try." He said. I shrugged. "Did you forget about Eun Ae?" I asked. "No, she's still is in my mind, I wish I

could see her again, I want to see how she looks now." He said. "I feel bad now." I said. "Why?" He

asked. "Because I brought it up." I said. "I know how you can make it up to me." He said. "How?" I

asked. "Pretend to be So Rin and a hug." He said. "Fine." I said with a smile. I got up and did he and we

hugged, just as the bell rang. "Let's walk together so that we can make it seem like you came back to

her house." He said. I nodded. We pulled away and I saw Taehyung's growing with Jealousy and Irene

leaving the classroom. "Go after her." I said to him and he nodded. I go to Taehyung. "Don't be jealous

please." I said to him. "Don't worry, I'll try not to. Do you want me to drop you off at your house?" He

asked. "No thanks, I'm going with Sungjae since we are going to do the project at my house." I said.

He forced a smile and said, "That's fine but if he comes too close to you, call me and I will be there in

matter of seconds." "Don't worry, plus we can go to the internet café and play video games

tomorrow." I said. He smiled and said, "Okay, let's go to the next class." I smiled and we left.
