we came into the stop and sat down.
johnny and sophia sat in a booth right next to us and i wasn't awkward for them like it was for me and thalia.
"hey, you wanna go up to the rooftop. we can get our ice cream and go," i said, and i felt like it was a pretty good idea considering we haven't actually talked at all and it's pretty loud in here.
"yeah it's really loud here," she said, getting up from the booth and getting on the line with me, and her turn cane right away.
"hey," she said smiling wide everything else was muted.
she was so beautiful it's crazy. and she probably the sweetest person i've ever known
what the fuck did i ever see in bree.
"joeyyyy," she said, shaking me alittle, snapping me back into reality.
"oh yeah, i'll get a rocky road in a cone," i said, walking down to the register.
"okay, i'm paying," i said facing thalia.
"fine by me, pretty boy," she said blushing alittle.
why was she blushing? and was that flirting? should i flirt back?
"anything for you pretty girl," she blushed even harder as i finished paying and we walked up the stairs to the rooftop.
"can i ask you a pretty serious question," she said looking down while licking her ice cream.
"what happened with you and bree? i
mean it's oka-," she started saying.
"no i'll tell you what happened. she got pregnant with my baby, never told me and she had an abortion. she then also admitted she cheated on me multiple times," i said, with tears almost filling my eyes but they went away pretty quickly.
"shit joey. no one deserves to be treated like that," she said putting a hand on my back and started rubbing my back.
"come on, let's take pictures," i said trying to change the topic.
"fine by me," she smiled.
thalia's pov;
no one deserves to get treated like that.
especially joey.
he's nothing but sweet and nice.
but i keep wondering,
if she cheated,
how does he know the baby was his?
