——————— thalia's pov; i woke up and i felt happy.
not like i got a good grade happy, but like genuinely happy.
i think this has something to do with me hanging out with joey today.
am i falling for him?
does he like me?
so many questions roamed through my head as i tried to decide what to wear, but i settled with a black crop top and some high waisted jeans.
while packing my bag, my phone vibrated and i went to see who it was.
joey 💛💫 hi thals, can i have the honor of driving you to school?
i chuckled and responded with a sure.
a minute later, i heard a honk. i looked to see where johnny was but saw a note that said he left early for practice.
i came outside, smiling when i saw him checking himself out in the mirror to make sure he looked okay.
when he caught me staring, he blushed as hard as a tomato. i hurried into the car and sat in the front seat, putting on my seatbelt, while he waited and looked at me.
"hi joey. thanks for offering a ride," i said and i put my hand on the arm rest in between his seat.
"my pleasure," he said smiling, putting his hand on mine, and i felt my cheeks go red.
he made a turn and i saw the school to the right of us.
"so meet me at the front entrance of the school right after school," he said, locking his car.
"um yeah sure," i said walking toward my next class.
and then i thought of a way i could really say thank you.
i ran up to him before he went to his first class and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
he blushed.
"what was that for?" he said giggling.
"to show how much i appreciate you joey. you do so much for me and i never do anything for you. i feel bad," i said kissing him on the other cheek as the first bell rang.
"okay i got to go, but text me if anything," i said, walking off.
"wait," i heard a voice shout and grab my wrist.
suddenly, someone's lips were kissing me and i was shocked, but then i kissed back. it felt so right.
it was meant to be.
and it was joey.
