thalia's pov; i haven't spoke joey since the bree incident and i'm really worried.
i tried calling him and even sophia but he didn't answer and she said he's sleeping or busy. she sounded really worried too.
but i'm worries he might do something stupid. he's obviously blaming himself and it's not his fault.
i texted him multiple which he read all, but he never responded.
i've even texted his mom, but she said he just needs time to cope. i hope he's not mad at me though.
i got out my laptop and started my essay that's due in a week when i heard a ding on my phone.
[thaliabesson] joeybirlem posted a new photo.
so he's alive that bastard.
i decided to swipe and see the photo, and when i saw it, tears came to my eyes.

thalia's pov; i tried calling his cell thirty times by the time i gave up and called sophia.
it went straight to voicemail and she immediately texted, "no ones home but him,"
shit.
i got beanie and hoodie and ran out the door.
the sun was setting, and i'm not even sure he's gonna let me in, but i gotta try.
i got to his door and by the time i did, i was panting, right in front of his front door.
"who the fuck is it," i heard a voice say.
it was joey. he sounded drunk and high and if i was being completely honest, i was scared.
he opened the door and tears came to his eyes when he saw my face closing it, but my hands catch the door before it closes completely.
"please leave. i don't wanna hurt you," he said shaking his head, backing up further and further into the living room.
"joey im not gonna leave until you tell me what's going on," i said running up to him and grabbing his hands, hugging him, as a stream of tears go down his face.
"all i do is hurt people. im a human bomb thalia. the last thing i wanna do is hurt you," he said through the tears. (an:/ IF U KNOW THIS REFERENCE TY)
"joey i like you. i like you so much and you didn't hurt me. bree overdosing was not your fault. you didn't even know. you've been through so much, give yourself some credit," i said tears coming to my eyes now. seeing him cry breaks my heart.
"i love you so much thalia."
"i love you more joey."
"impossible," he says laying me and himself down on the couch.
