Yes, we have the anticipated triplet telepathy, and we could finish each other's sentences, but we couldn't have been more different. At least we thought we were until senior year.

A lot of people liked to call us the King sisters, but I liked to be called Belle, and my sisters preferred it when people called them Beth and Anna.

Of course we shared the long blonde locks that cascaded down our backs, jade green eyes, and pointed noise, but that was probably the only thing we had in common. My sisters and I couldn't have been more different.

I'm Annabelle (Belle for short), narrator of this ridiculous story, and the smart one out of the three of us. I preferred when my square glasses to sat at the bridge of my nose, unlike my sister's who depended on their prescribed contacts tp be able to see. Most of the time I was tucked away in my room doing homework and reading while Beth was living her life and Anna was at her games. But then there was the time when I was spending days at my best friend's house watching the Walking Dead and play COD.

Although I loved spending time with the bestie, eating away my life, I still wanted to find something that satified me the way Anna loved soccer and Beth loved being queen bee. I may have thought about this over and over again in my head, but I never have said anything aloud to anyone. I was supposed to be quiet, nerdy, little Belle. People wouldn't care enough to try help me. And that's one of the main room I seek the comfort I need at home, with my mom who is still geting over our father who left her for his secretary two months ago.

"Mom, I hate him too, but talking about it...with me isn't going to help anything." I tell her, standing from the couch we were sharing, and placing my hands on my hips. "You need to venture out into the world and find a man that will never leave you." I encourage her, hoping that I change her negative mindset.

"And you should practice what you preach. School starts soon and you need to find yourself a high school sweetheart before time runs out." she tells me, wagging a finger in the air.

"I do have a sweetheart, Drew." I reassure her.

"Best friends don't count." she scolds me playfully, sipping some wine from the glass on the table.

"Well in my world they do." I say, chuckling slightly. I open my mouth to say something else, but I'm interrupted by a vibration in my back pocket. I pull put my phone to see Drew's contact name flashing across my screen.

"He's actually outside waiting for me. Can I spend the night?" I ask hopefully.

"I should really be saying no at your age, but sure. I'll just drown my sorrows in numerous bottles of red wine waiting for me in the wine cooler." she sighs dramatically.

"Love you, bye." I laugh at her, placing a quick kiss on her cheek before walking out the door to Drew.

His baby blue Vespa sits on the street as he leans against it, playing on his phone. Like usual, his maroon beanie frames his angular face and brown hair. He smiles up at me when he realizes that I'm in his presence.

"Hey, my mom said I can spend the night tonight." I inform him, sliding on a helmet.

"I don't know if tonight is a good night, Nate has some friends over." Drew tells me, starting up his bike and tucking his phone bakck into his pocket.
