41 | Decision Decision

A/N: GET READY!!!!!

I sat at the table downstairs, picking at my food while my mom stared at me waiting for something, anything to come out of my mouth. But, I couldn't speak, I didn't know what to say.

Finally my mom sighs and she slam her fork down on the table. "Maia, we need to talk, you need to talk. Tell me what's going on" She says. I notice her voice breaks as she does so.

"There's Nothing to say" I mumble without looking at her. Why wouldn't Fangs tell her that we're on a break? Did he regret making us take a break? Does he want me back? Does he miss me?

"Honey, whats going on with you? You got deadly injured—but you never really recovered did you?" My mom asks with a breaking voice.

I clench my eyes shut and push the tears back. "Fangs and I are on a break, mom. You know I lose it when I lose something" I blurt out.

I hear my moms chair scraping off the floor and I think she walks out on me, but she doesn't, I feel her arms wrap around me and she puts my head on her chest. "What happened?" she asks carefully and soothes my hair.

"I don't know, I screwed up, mom. Everyone knows that couples taking a break never survives. He'll leave me like everyone else in this family" I sob and tears roll like a goddamn waterfall. I need him, I love him and he's the most precious thing I have left.

"Fangs won't leave you, honey, he loves you—I see when he looks at you, his eyes are always sparkling when he sees you, that doesn't just dissapear over night. You won't lose him, only if you let him" Mom says and I look up at her.

"Go get him, honey" She tells me with a smile. "Now?" I ask and look at the ticking watch on the wall. It's 9 in the morning. "He's probably in school now" I say and realise i'm not in school too.

"Then go and get him—in school" She says and I smile widely. I hug her and kiss her cheek. "I love you!" I say and hurry out of my chair before running upstairs to get dressed. "Save those words for him!" mom yells after me and I laugh and shake my head.

I wipe the tears away and get dressed. I grab my leather jacket and slip on my heels with trouble and flatten my skirt before grabbing my back and running downstairs again. I grab my keys and then I hurry to get to school.

As I arrive I hurry to the lounge where everyone usually is. I see Toni, Jughead, Sweet Pea, Betty and Veronica. But no Fangs. "Toni!" I call out and she looks around confused before seeing me.

"Hey—are you okay? What happened with your mo—""—We can talk about that later, where's Fangs?" I ask with hope.

"Maia, I don't know if that's a goo—""—He's not here, he's in his trailer, refused to go to school today" Sweet Pea butts in and I look up at him and nod thankfully and he nods back at me with a small smile.

"Thank you. See you later" I hurry out before running out of school again, I drive to the trailer park and as I get out of my car, I notice the curtains are blocking the windows.

I sigh and pull myself together before knocking on his door, soon enough it's ripped open and Fangs stands there, shirtless, bottle in hand, bloodshot eyes and my face falls at his appearance.

"Maia?" Fangs says almost sounding out of breath. "Can we talk?" I ask hopefully. I don't want to push him. Fangs drop the bottle before pulling me inside and connect our lips. I'll take that as a yes then.

I kiss back and wrap my arms around his neck and run my hands through his soft hair. God, I missed this, I miss him.

We pull away after a few minutes and he rests his head on mine, that's when I realise that he has fresh tears running down his cheeks. I reach up and wipe them away before looking into his beautiful eyes.

"I'm sorry, for everything" I apologise and he shakes his head. "No, this one's on me, I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I can't live without you, Maia. I don't know what the hell I thought was gonna happen with this 'break' I'm so sorry, I ruined everything" Fangs shakes and keeps shaking his head and more tears falls. He's crying, for me.

"Fangs, I love you. I don't want this to end, so what do you say that we put this behind us and continue our lives with each other?" I say and take his face in my hands. He leans into my touch and nods. "I Love you too" Fangs says before kissing me without warning.

It's funny how we haven't said it before I got shot, now we say almost every time we see each other.

I kiss Fangs back with need for him, every inch of him. Fangs deepen the kiss and that tells me he wants the same. He starts fumbling with my jacket and I take it off not breaking the kiss once.

He starts undoing the buttons on my blue shirt and as he takes it off we pull away, Fangs looks at me and his eyes travel to my scar. I lift his chin and make him look at me as he freezes.

"It's okay" I assure him and then move to take his shirt off. He lets me take it off of him and I connect our lips again. We havent done it since before I got shot. So, basically this is what he's been afraid off the whole time.

It doesn't take long for Fangs to take the lead, he lifts me up and I lock my legs around his waist and he kisses me hungrily, I moan on his lips as he runs his hand over my parts.

Fangs walks into his bedroom and as he does so, I kiss down his neck, he grunts before throwing me on his bed and I smirk up at him, he place himself between my thighs and connect our lips once again.
