Shit. If there was one word to describe how the boys felt the next morning, it would be complete and utter shit, George woke up that morning and turned over to his over side still half asleep which lead to being face to face with John who was also still asleep, both of them having their arms lazily wrapped around each other, it was when fifth teen minutes later ruined it by George's alarm clock, he grumbled and reached for his phone, putting his alarm on snooze and trying to get back to sleep again "nu uh, wakey wakey" the voice from beside him said "no" he mumbled, this continued for the next few minutes until John tried again but this time pecked George's lips which made him finally open his eyes "knew that would work" John smirked, George tried to hide his blush and was too hungover to react to the matter really. John got out of bed "fuckin hell, my head is bloody killing mind" he complained, George got out of bed too "tell me about it". The both of them trudged downstairs to find Ringo and Paul already there, both of them also looking like death, especially Paul. George couldn't help but give out a little laugh when he saw Paul "don't even." Paul grumbled "you look like if death had a child" "gee thanks mate, jokes on you mind" "why?" "because you have work" Paul smirked "I have work?" "that's why you set your alarm remember?" John reminded him "...oh...oh yeah" John chuckled and kissed his love interests head then walking off into the kitchen to make coffee for everyone. Paul made his eyebrows do an eyebrow dance to the action that John just did but George just rolled his eyes. "you aren't actually going to go to work hungover right?" Ringo asked "I dunno..I mean I guess so" "but..I mean no offence mate but you are practically brain dead right now" "good point..but I can't really afford to miss work" "ah, fair enough. Hey if it helps, just think that, that some of that money can go towards flying over to see John" Ringo said and gave a playful wink "exactly" George chuckled "exactly what?" John asked and handed everyone their hot drinks "nothing for you to worry about pretty boy". John being the gentlemen he is had insisted to walk George to work which George was very grateful for, since they couldn't get enough of each other they planned on meeting after George had finished his shift too. They said goodbye with a hug and John kissing George on the forehead which of course made the younger blush, John loved how easily he could make George blush.
Once George had gone in, John made his way back home, ready to have a nap but someone else had other plans for him "um..excuse me?" John turned around to see a blonde girl, similar to the age of George, it took him a second but that is when he realised who she was, Pattie, George's ex. "oh hello, how can I help you?" John said, trying his best to appear friendly, "your George's boyfriend right? I've seen you guys around.." "boyfriend? um..not technically no..but kinda..I guess..why?" "I'm Pattie, I used to date George" "oh right.." John replied, confused on why he was being told this "I just wanted to come to you because you seem to make him happy right?" "yes..what's it to you?" Pattie took a few steps closer "what's it to me? stay away from him." John couldn't believe this "excuse me?" "you heard me, George doesn't need you. He only needs me." "oh really? then why did he break up with you?" John smirked, Pattie gasped "how dare you! he didn't break up with me. he still loves me!" "yeah yeah, you keep telling that to yourself princess" John said and rolled his eyes, walking off. "I mean it! go near him again and I'll make sure he never wants to see you again!" John scoffed and kept walking, what the hell was her problem? why did it matter so much? I mean sure understandably she hadn't gotten over him, John didn't blame her for that but her way almost seemed..obsessive?
But the question is, to tell George about this or to not?
