Chapter twenty three- nothing but hopeless

"Hey Paul, it's me"

Is what George had said as soon as the phone had been picked up "George, what a pleasant surprise" was the answer on the other end of the phone. George froze and his face turned into an emotion of pure confusion, John looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"What the hell Pattie?" George eventually was able to get out, why did Pattie answer Paul's phone?, more importantly why the hell were they together?? was all George could think about. Pattie gave out a giggle "shocked huh? yeah I would be too. How is it going with your boyfriend? has he made you wanna cut your wrists? I know I had that effect on you" George was disgusted and instantly hung up the phone, not saying anything until John questioned an "what did she say? why were they even together?" "I..I don't know why they were together, I'll deal with that when I get home..but for now.." George trailed on and attached his lip's onto his boyfriends. He was going to make sure that from now on nothing was going to make him mad, upset him or anything else in between while he was here with John, John was his happiness and he wasn't going to let anyone get in between that.

Pattie smirked as she got the effect she wanted, getting under George's skin. Paul had just  walked back into his living room "oh, you are still here" he said with an eyeroll "indeed I am" "okay well can you like, leave? " Pattie got up and passed Paul his phone "course" Paul raised an eyebrow "why did you have my phone?" Pattie gave out yet another smirk "you had a call, I just answered for you" Paul rolled his eyes and looked at his call history to see who it was "George.." he said softly  "yup and after me answering, I can imagine you know how he is feeling and won't be planning on calling you again anytime soon" Paul shot Pattie insant daggers "you fucking bitch." "that's me" "get out." "nawh but I was just starting to have fun" "I said get out!!" Paul yelled, loosing it, emotions spiralling everywhere. Pattie did as she was told, leaving an rather emotional Paul feeling rather nothing but hopeless.
