After college, Paul and George would always hang out but George left to go home before Paul even had the chance to walk up to him, he didn't do it to be rude. He just wanted to be alone, Paul understood that about George. As George had walked up to his front door he felt relief to be home again, he soon felt shit again but that was just because of his mind you see, chronic depression. It often made him think or do harmful things to himself, he was trying to cut down, he really was but it wasn't really that simple. "oh shut up" he muttered to himself, his mind wanting craves, he was just about clean and he wasn't going to start again. He tried distracting himself by listening to music but ended up only making himself feel worse, he sighed and turned his music off and stayed where he was, in the living room, being in silence, well was in silence until his phone began to buzz in his pocket from ringing, he took his phone out from his pocket and looked to see who was calling, John. He prepared himself to sound fine and pressed answer, putting the phone to his ear "hello?" "hey baby, just thought I would give you a call before my next lecture" George felt his throat choke up a little bit, the first time hearing John's voice since he left "hello? Geo?" George mentally cursed at himself for taking so long to respond and now having a suspicious John.
George hated to but couldn't help it, putting on his happy voice for everything to seem fine "hey, yeah sorry. How are you?" "I'm okay, I'm missing you like crazy though..and you?" "me too.." a silence reached the line, "but soon I'll be over, so it's okay" George added "I can't wait to show you the sights, you'd love it" John said and added "I know a perfect little place we could go too. It's a little cafe with music I know you would love, plus it's by a beautiful view! I can't wait to take you there" John rambled, which George couldn't help but smile at, happily yet sadly, finding a tear or two trickle down his cheek "I can't wait babe..". They talked for around another ten minutes, that was because John had to go to his next lecture. There was something John did to George that no one else could seem to do, he couldn't quite describe it just yet but it was something he hadn't experience before.
George just found himself sitting there, not particular feeling anything, just a crave and that crave was John, it beat all of his other craves he had constantly in the back of his head, from then forward, George would do anything he could to get to John quicker. He needed his crave for John, a phone call or text would only settle his needs temporary, George needed the real physical thing.
