You and Neal had been childhood friends. The two of you met on Neverland, and he had been the one to help you leave. 

Once the two of you left, you went separate ways. Back then it was the right thing to do, but now you hated yourself for leaving him. Especially because he was now in Storybrook. And the worst part - he was engaged. 

Back on Neverland, the two of you had unspoken feelings for each other. While Neal's seemed to go away, yours hadn't - even after all these years. 

Now you were sitting in Granny's with Mary Margaret and Emma. You had been feeling down since Neal introduced you to Tamara, and your friends seemed to notice. Thought they had no idea it was because of Neal. 

You felt weird talking to Emma about him, considering he was the father to her child. The three of you were in the middle of a conversation when the bell rang. You turned your head to see Neal and Tamara walk in. He waved at you and you gave a soft smile back.

"Is he the reason you're so upset?" Mary Margaret asked, giving you a calculating look.

You just looked down at the table, "It's stupid. We haven't seen each other in years."

"That doesn't mean anything and you know that," she said.

You shrugged, "Whatever. It doesn't matter anyway. He's with her."
