You pressed your heels into your horse's side, pushing him into a faster gait. You had finally found where your princess lied, and you were on your way to wake her.

She had been under the effects of a sleeping curse for a year now. You couldn't wait to wake her up and take her into your arms. It had been too long.

You could see the ruined castle now, and your heart began to race faster. You were so close. The castle was in front of you in moments, and you slowed your horse to a stop before jumping off.

Mulan and Phillip slowed their mounts behind you, but you were only focused on Aurora. You ran up the steps to her casket and gasped. She looked beautiful, peaceful.

Phillip helped you raise the top of the case, and backed up to give the two of you space. You eyed her lips briefly, then closed your eyes and slowly lowered your lips to hers. As your lips touched, you felt a surge of magic flow through you and pulled away.

Aurora's eyes opened with a gasp, and her eyes instantly locked with yours, "y/n!"

You laughed in shock, and pulled the princess into a hug. She locked her lips on yours again, "I missed you!"

"Oh, you have no idea, Aurora!"
