Theodoras eyes fluttered open and she glanced around her dorm. In it was Abigail Zhang, a blonde green eyed girl who'd introduced herself as "Poppy" and a brown haired girl called "Molly". They were all still asleep so Theodora silently put on her robes and went down to breakfast. It was only seven AM, classes didn't start until eight-thirty AM. Theodora grabbed her Hogwarts: A history book and went down to the great hall.
When Theodora arrived there she noticed that there was no students about only teachers. Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagal were all sitting at the top table chatting to each other.
Theodora strode in and headed straight to the Slytherin table. She looked at Dumbledore. McGonagal stared back at Theodora, her eyes cold. Dumbledore kept his face emotionless but you could see the surprise in his eyes. He quickly replaced it with a smile.
"Theodora!" he cried "Good morning!". McGonagal stared at Dumbledore in shock.
Dumbledore smiled "Come over here!"
Theodora stared at him and approached the table "Yes, Headmaster?" her voice was quiet and cold as ice.
Dumbledore beamed "You're up early!" he said.
Theodora stared at him blankly. Her silver eyes shone.
Dumbledore smiled."I don't think you've been introduced to the people that'll be teaching you, this is Professor McGonagal and Professor Snape." Dumbledore said.
Theodora smiled at each politely but her eyes held cold fury as she continued to stare at Dumbledore.
She walked back to her table, grabbed some toast, propped her book up and began eating. Snape and McGonagal glanced at each other in surprise.
Professor McGonagal was afraid. She was slightly afraid of this tiny twelve year old girl. She remembered the eleven year old Tom. Clever, handsome, powerful, frightening. Theodora and Tom could've been twins. How could Dumbledore act so calmly? Even Snapes white face seemed to become whiter.
"Do you think she will be powerful, Headmaster?" he asked, dropping his voice to a whisper.
Dumbledore leaned across the table to talk to Snape.
"I know she'll be powerful. When I went to the orphanage I asked what she could do, she said that she could hurt people mentally and set things on fire. Then she made a lily flower form in her hand and then she set it on fire..."
Snapes hands clenched into a fist at the mention of Lily. He missed Lily Potter dearly though he'd never admit it.
"-and then she told me she could talk to snakes and other animals also. When I went to get Tom from his orphanage, he could do the exact same things, apart from the lily thing. I fear that Tom gave her powers when she was just a baby." Dumbledore whispered.
Snape and McGonagal glanced at each other uneasily. All three teachers then directed their attention to Theodora. She was absorbed in her book but could feel eyes on her, six eyes to be exact.
Theodora looked up and her eyes narrowed when she saw the three teachers watching her uneasily. Theodora stared at Snape and began to wonder what he was thinking off, strangely a bubble appeared above his head. Like a cartoon thought bubble.
Images appeared in it. There was an image of Theodora showing Dumbledore the lily she created then setting it on fire. The image changed and a women with long red hair and green eyes appeared, 'Lily' in green writing appeared above the women. Clearly this women was called Lily. The image changed again and Theodora could see that Snape was curious because lots of questions filled the thought bubble. Theodora pulled herself away from the thought bubble and watched it disappear with a pop.
