Theodora Riddle {A Harry Potter fanfic} *Completed*

Epilogue.

In the Summer at the end of Theodora's first, but technically second year, Theodora was adopted. It had been a boring day at the orphanage as usual.

Then Theodora got a visitor, a man called Charlie Weasley, the oldest brother of Ron. Charlie had heard all about Theodora from Ron and Ginny (and Mrs Weasley, who was so pleased her daughter was alive).

Theodora, who loved Dragons and still had her dragon birthday presents, was delighted about the adoption and happily moved to Romania where Charlie lived. By the end of the Summer, Theodora was a proper Weasley (she'd changed her name from Riddle to Weasley) and the Weasley family treated her as a member of the family. Theodora even started calling Charlie 'dad' because he was more like her dad than Tom Riddle ever was!

Theodora remained close with her Gryffindor friends, despite being a Slytherin. Ron, Harry, Ginny and Hermione (after she'd been unpetrified), but Theodora's best friend was Ellie. Harry didn't care that Theodora's dad was Voldemort because as he put it 'you're not him'.

Theodora got kidnapped in her fourth year by Wormtail and was brought to the graveyard to see her fathers re-birth. She escaped with Harry and Cedric (deceased) as the cup was a port-key. Theodora fought at the ministry with Luna, Neville, Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Ellie came too. The others liked Ellie because she too was nothing like her mum.

They escaped again, after Ellie had fought her mother, Theodora had fought Voldemort, Harry had got possessed by Voldemort and Sirius Black had been killed by Bellatrix. Harry had been heartbroken and had used the cruciatus curse on Bellatrix whilst Ellie had just watched emotionlessly.

In Theodoras sixth year, she started to develop a crush on one of her friends, Dean Thomas, but he (unfortunately) was dating Ginny. One time, Theodora was walking with Harry and they went into an empty classroom and saw Ginny and Dean snogging ferociously. Theodora blushed and turned her head away, her heart breaking. Harry too seemed to feel a little upset, by the way he looked at Ginny.

Harry and Theodora both turned and left in opposite directions. Theodora tried her hardest not to cry. Don't cry. Crying is weak. Don't cry -

Theodora burst into tears and hid in Moaning Myrtles bathroom for the remainder of the day.

Theodora became a favourite of Professor Slughorn, who taught the young Tom Riddle. She was invited to the 'Slug Club' and accepted. By January of Theodoras sixth year, Ginny and Dean had broken up. Theodora was delighted but didn't say anything. She took to spending more time with Dean and also began wearing makeup. By the end of sixth year they'd ended up together and both were very happy (also the snogging was great!).

Theodoras seventh year at Hogwarts was the worst.

Harry, Ron and Hermione had gone AWOL, and no one knew where they were, they didn't go back to Hogwarts. Theodora had heard they were planning on hunting Horcuxes or something. She'd heard them whispering about it, the day before Bill and Fleurs wedding. She didn't know what a horcrux was and didn't ask them about it.

Hogwarts had changed completely, ever since Theodora had went back to school, communications had been cut off, Theodora had no way to contact Charlie, also the pupils weren't allowed home for Christmas. Ever since Dumbledore had been murdered by Snape, Snape became Headmaster; there was also two Death Eaters - The Carrows, teaching.

The Carrows, brother and sister, were heartless and extremely cruel. They wanted the seventh years to use the cruciatus curse on first years. Neville, Lavender, Dean, Seamus, Parvati and Padma, Theodora and all the rest of the 7th years, including Ellie and some other Slytherins refused to do it. They all got punished with the cruciatus curse and one hundred lines with blood quills.

Theodora was afraid. Tom Riddle was getting stronger, day by day. Hogwarts was getting weaker. Where was Harry, Ron, Hermione?

When the Battle of Hogwarts began, Theodora was fast and powerful. She defected many spells and cast some too. Then it happened.

Theodora had been running to find Ellie, she saw Ellie on the other side of the room and ran towards her when she heard the words "Avada Kedavra."

Theodora felt the spell hit her back. She fell on her front, and the last thing she heard was Ellie's scream and Bellatrixs laugh as the light died in Theodoras eyes, just like she died...

Ellie's PoV

Ellie heard her mother call the spell and watched, as if in slow motion, as the jet of green light smacked into Theodora's back. Theodora fell face first onto the floor and stopped moving.

"NOOOO!" Ellie screamed, running towards Theodora's still body. She flipped Theodora onto her back, Theodora's eyes were open and glassy, her mouth pulled into a frown.

"D-Dora? Wa-wake up! Please Dora! Wake up! Wake up!!" Ellie cried, shaking her best friends limp body. Nothing. Ellie broke down sobbing. No, it couldn't be true! Theodora dead, no!

The battle had been won, Voldemort was dead. But not everyone was celebrating. Theodora's body had been set on a white stretcher then placed on the ground, next to Fred, Tonks and Remus (all dead). Ellie started crying again, so many people dead.

Charlies reaction was the worst. He entered the 'great hall' and immediately saw a cluster of redheads. He walked towards them and saw they were all crying, all surrounding two bodies. Charlie edged forward and held back a scream. Lying on one stretcher was Fred and on the other was Theodora.

"D - Dora? Fred?" Charlie sobbed, tears flowing freely from his eyes. He let out a scream and hugged his dead brother and adopted daughter. They were gone. Ellie sobbed next to Theodora, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny all crying over the loss of Theodora and Fred.

It broke everyones hearts.

19 years later...

Harry waved from the station as the Hogwarts express took off. Ellie waved to her daughter, Dora Finnagin. After Theodora's death, Ellie was distraught. Seamus Finnagin was a big help in Ellies recovery, he listened to her, made her laugh when she was down, he was a shoulder to cry on...Ellie was so grateful and soon, their friendship became something else: a relationship. Two years after graduating Hogwarts they got married. Ellie became an author, and she told Theodora (and other peoples) story. She wrote books about the battle of Hogwarts, capturing the fear, sadness and anger of the battle perfectly. Seamus became an auror, alongside Harry and Ron. Then they had their daughter, Dora Elysia Finnagin. Ellie was extremely happy with her life.

She loked up at the clouds and was certain Theodora was smiling down at her . . . All was well.
