Theodora, Harry and Ron ran towards Lockhart's office. Apparently he had dealt with petrifications so many times, so the teachers suggested he go and retrieve the two girls.

When they entered Lockhart's office, they were surprised to see suitcases lying around and Lockhart was magicking his possessions inside them.

"You're not leaving, are you?" Theodora asked, pulling her wand out and hiding it up her sleeve.

"Urgent call, I'm afraid, unavoidable." Lockhart replied, trying to sound casual but his voice was shaking.

"What about my sister?!" Ron cried.

"And my best friend?!" Theodora burst in.

"So sorry," Lockhart mumbled. "But I have to leave."

"You didn't do those things in your books, did you?" Harry realised.

"You're a liar," spat Theodora. "And a cheat, did you steal their memories or something, pass them off as your own? Disgusting."

Lockhart had the decency to look ashamed and he bowed his head. Theodora, Harry and Ron pointed their wands at Lockhart's chest.

"Show us where the chamber of secrets is." Theodora demanded.

"I don't know," Lockhart whined. "I never knew where the chamber of secrets was!"

"Well, you're in luck," Harry said. "Because we do know. C'mon."

Harry led the way, with Lockhart following and Ron and Theodora behind Lockhart so he wouldn't run. They reached Moaning Myrtle's bathroom and Harry noticed a strange tap, it had a snake on it.

"Say something in parseltongue." Ron prompted. In unison, Harry and Theodora said 'open' in parseltongue. Harry raised his eyebrows at Theodora.

"You can talk to snakes?" He asked.

"Yep." She replied casually.

"Obliviate!" Cried Lockhart, but the spell backfired and he lost his own memories. Theodora giggled but then rocks started falling down and she ran, followed by Harry. Ron and Lockhart were trapped on the other side.

"I'll get Ginny, I promise, Ron!" Harry said. Theodora ignored this and continued walking up the tunnel, her heart was beating madly in her chest. Please be okay, Ellie. Please don't be dead.

"'Dora!" Harry called; Theodora turned around and waited for Harry to catch up with her. They entered a huge cave-like place and there, lying in the middle of chamber was Ginny and Ellie.

"Ellie!" Theodora cried at the same time as Harry cried "Ginny!"

Both ran towards their friends. Theodora crouched beside Ellie, begging her to wake up.

"Ennervate!" Theodora tried, pointing her wand at Ellie. Nothing happened; Ellie was growing colder and colder by the minute.

"Nothing's happening!" Theodora panicked, turning to Harry.

"They won't wake." Said a soft male voice. Theodora looked up and saw a boy who looked exactly like her, but obviously in boy form. Theodora's mouth fell open.

"Tom? Tom Riddle?" Harry guessed. "You have to help us!"

Tom Riddle laughed, a chilling laugh that didn't suit him. Theodora shuddered and scooted towards Ellie. Toms expression softened slightly as he looked at her.

"There's a basilisk!" Harry cried, looking at Tom incredulously, probably wondering why he wasn't doing anything. Theodora knew; she knew that Tom had possessed Ellie, and Theodora (and Ginny?) to petrify the children. Tom was the bad guy in this and Harry had no clue.
