Chapter 11

Undine forced both Ryker and Skylar to sleep somewhere else other then in their room. I laid on my side as he sat on the edge of the bed.

"Do not worry young one, I will never hurt you. If I were to and the master found out he would skin me. I will not make that mistake." The bed dipped a little before a gentle hand was on my head petting me slowly. "Rest, your dreams are what calls the most right?"

I felt the peace of sleep coming, however there was no dream of the sea. I stood in the middle of a forest watching a small child crying over a body of a woman, her chest had been ripped open and blood covered the boy as if someone had wiped it all over him just to torture him. The moon shined so bright it was hurting my eyes.

What was this? I had no idea where I was or even what was happening. That's when I saw the figure leaning on the tree in the shadows watching the boy with a smirk. His eyes swipe over to where I stood, and he chuckled darkly.

"Soon Gift of Sea, this will happen on the night you are to fall, and the lands will become unbalanced just as the prophecies say. My kind will reach all over, yours may say he will rise but he alone will never stop me. No, no. One will not stop all the darkness. Not even the light can."

I couldn't look away from what was happening in front of me as the boy turn to look at the moon, his eyes were the color of a blazing fire. Something didn't seem right, he did not look like a creature of fire yet here he was with the eyes of one. That's when it hit me. My eyes were green, yet I was a creature of water. Could this be something to do with the prophecy and the gift thing I keep hearing about? It was a possibility, if it was then I would not be the only one to fall to the master of the sea?

The man moves towards the boy, I could not see his face. Only his eyes. They look very dark and as if it was that of pure evil.

"It was nice meeting you Gift of Sea, however I have plans to get back to. A child to enslave and a world to end." He laughs as he touches the boys head, and everything faded to nothing as I tried to reach for the child.

"NO!" I screamed sitting up from the bed and look around to see it was midday and Undine sat at the desk reading.

"Seems you had a very eventful dream? Do you remember what it was about?" He asks softly as he set the book down watching me. All I could remember was red eyes on a creature that they shouldn't have been on. It was strange I couldn't remember anything else from it.

"I'll take that as a no. Well here is lunch, the twins have made it clear to me you are only to eat once a day. When we reach my home, I will be taking you to the sea pools to allow you to relax in until it is time for the fullest moon."

I frown something about the moon, that day. It had something to do with my dream yet the harder I tried to remember the more my head hurt.

I got out of the bed and went to grab the plate from Undine, the moment I was close he grab my wrist and made me look at him.

"I will say this once, I will not have you escaping on my watch at the pools. Do I make myself clear? I am not working with your brothers for the same reason. I am helping you because your mother was a dear friend and I know no matter what the prophecy will come true. It is just how it happens. Sedan nor the twins can control what you will become. You may have heard it once before, but the gift of the sea is not some toy nor play thing. It is a powerful rare breed that can only wake the masters."

I frown a little, tilting my head to the side seeing my hair had grown out more then I normally liked. "Masters?"

He smiles weakly, "You will find out in due time. Now eat before those two brats come barging in whining about not having time with you."

I sat on the edge of the bed watching him as I ate what I could of the food. He acted as if he knew even more then both Ryker and Skylar. For some reason I felt this would not end with just me dying on the fullest night either. That red eye creature I saw is the next one probably. What he is or where I have no idea.

I did not have a chance to think much more on it for just as Undine had said they came barging in. Skylar whined as he moved towards me.

"Raven come play with me. I want to feel you." Chills ran down my back and my skin crawled in disgust as I tried to move away from him.

"Touch him and I will turn you into a guppy." Undine said calmly as he stood up and move to my side. "As I have said allow him to heal. We are almost to my house, there we can take him to the sea pools, so he can finish preparing for the seals and bonds."

Ryker grab Skylar by the shoulder before looking at me, "After you have finish we are taking you to the sealed islands and you will weaken the seal."

No one asked me if I wanted this, they were saying it as if I was just a doll to be used how they wanted me. Why was it this way? I rub at my forehead, it still hurt from trying to remember the dream I had. I just knew I had to help the red eyed creature somehow, someway.

'We will, in due time. You will be one with the water soon. Once you have been cleansed then you can learn more of what is going on, young one.'

The voices seem to have many ways of speaking to me which made me think, maybe it is more then just one and that's why I can't tell anything about it.

"Let's get above deck and onto the boats so we can get him to the pools." Ryker sighed as he leads the way out of the room.
