Human But Vampire

Part One

Kasumi's prov (age:11)
I sit here hidding. I have been hiding from them for a long time now. I'm so scared. I have seen them bitting other's necks and some don't make it after they do that. "Hey I see a kid hidding between that couch and wall." A voice says. My heart races knowing I'm going to die. The couch is moved away and a vampire stands there. He looks down at me as my body shakes in fear. He reaches down and grabs me. I struggle some but he doesn't care. "Wait don't drink from her. Let's see what the queen thinks of her. I'm sure she would like some fresh blood." Another says. My eyes widen. No I don't want to be used as food for them. I struggle more but it is no use I am only a eleven year old. "Okay. Well looks like you get to be the Queen's little gift." The one holding me says. I panic and try to get free. His hand tightens around my neck and I struggle to breath. I stop fighting back and he releases me some. He carries me to the other guy and he grabs my arm. They set me on my feet and lead me from this room. I am taken through the place I have been living and outside. There is a Jeep there and I am forced in the back. There are other vampires here as well as a few kids like me. I curl up in a tight ball scared. The Jeep jerks as we start moving. I have no clue what is waiting for us. It has to be bad. No way is it good. I bury my face in my knees. If only I was no alone. My parents died when I was born and some older kids took me in. They however were killed when the vampires took over. Some sickness killed them. That was last year. They always hit me but it was better then being dead. I'm not to sure how long it is before we come to a stop. We are all told to get out of the Jeep and the vampires from before get me. I am to scared to fight back as they lead me through this new city. Other kids watch me sadly. There is so many kids here. I can't believe there are so many. I see a big building and they take me inside. As we walk vampires watch me with hunger in their eyes. It terrifies me and I feel my body shaking. The one vampire opens a big door and we enter a huge room. "Queen Krul we just returned from another city. We brought you a gift." He says bowing. "Well you brought me a human child? Why?" A voice asks. "We figured you would like her blood. She is young and I'm sure her blood is of good quality." He explains. I hear footsteps and look up. Their is a girl walking towards me. "Well hello there. You are young and I think I may just like you. Thank you for bringing her. She will be a good source of food." She says. My eyes widen in fear. She grabs my neck and pulls me closer. I am to scared to fight back. I close my eyes tightly as she leans close. I feel her bite my neck and cry out. I can hear her drinking my blood. It hurts so much and I want to die. "Well your blood is of good quality." She says. She makes me look at her and she smiles. "Thank you two. You are dismissed." She says. The two leave and I am left alone with her. "The look of fear in your eyes is adorable. What is your name?" She asks. I don't answer. She frowns and sighs. "You can tell me your name or I will just have to give you a new one." She says. I tense up. I go to answer but someone comes walking in. "Queen Krul." A voice says. She looks up and looks annoyed. "What Ferid?" She asks. He laughs. "I see you have a new gift." He says. She sighs. "So what? What did you come here to bother me with?" She demands. "Well Mika here still refuses to drink from a human." He says. She walks over dragging me with her. I see another vampire and a kid. He looks to be not much older then me. "Well Mika why don't you have a taste of her blood. It is really good." She says. He shakes his head and backs up. "No I won't. I'd rather die." He says. Wait he is a vampire? He has a look of fear in his eyes. "Oh Mika you can't drink my blood forever. You understand that right?" She asks. He tenses up and looks down. "I won't do it. I didn't ask for this." He says. She sighs and looks down at me. "You know I might do a little test." She says. "A test?" The guy, Ferid, asks. "See if this child will be the same as him. Make her one of us and see if she will still fight against us." She says. My eyes widen and I struggle. "No I don't want to be a vampire!" I argue. Her grip on my neck tightens. "I didn't ask you if you wanted it." She says. I can barely breath and gasp for air. "Now I am going to let your neck go. If you dare run I will have Ferid get you." She says. She let's me neck go and I fall to the ground gasping for air. "So are you going to tell me your name or what?" She asks. "Kasumi. Kasumi Tokuda." I answer. I look up at her as she smiles. "Well Kasumi welcome to your new life." She says. I tense up and scoot backwards. She soon has me pinned to the floor. I struggle but can't do anything. "No let her go!" The boy, Mika, calls. I can see him struggling to get away from Ferid and to us. "From this day forward you are no longer human but vampire." She says. She bites down and blood runs from her mouth. She leans closer but I turn my head. She grabs my jaw and forces my head to stay still. She puts her mouth to mine and her blood runs into mine. I start to choke so I have no choice but to drink it. As I do a pain fills my body and my eyes go wide. She lifts her head and wipes the blood from her mouth. "You are one of us now." She says. As the pain goes away I breath heavily. My hearing and smell is different. She gets up and I don't move. She looks down at me. "Stand up." She orders. I don't listen. She sighs and pulls me up off the floor. "You will stay with Ferid and Mika." She says. "Wait what? Why do I have to watch both of them?" Ferid asks. "Because I said so that's why." She says annoyed. She walks towards a chair not far away. The only thing besides us in the room. I wipe my mouth and look at my hand. Her blood is smudged there. I feel my eyes fill with tears. "Awe are you crying?" She asks. "Why? What did I do to you?" I ask. My voice is full of hurt and is quiet. "You did nothing technically. I was just going to use you as livestock but then Ferid walked in. You should feel lucky." She says. A hand touches my shoulder and I jump. "Come on." Ferid says. I move away from him scared. He sighs and grabs my arm. I struggle as he pulls me with him. "Oh and Ferid." Krul calls. "Yes?" He asks. "Don't let anything happen to my little tests. If either die then it will be bad for you." She says. He nods. "Yes I know. Don't worry I will keep them alive." He says. He then takes me from the room and Mika follows us. I struggle but it doesn't help. It only makes Ferid angry. As we walk through the city a few vampires bow to Ferid. After a little bit we get to a new building and he takes us inside. "Now you will sleep in the same room as Mika. That way I know you won't run away." He says. He leads us to a room and let's my arm go. He then leaves me and Mika here. Mika looks at me and I back up. I stumble and fall on my butt. He comes to my side and helps me up. "Are you okay?" He asks. He sounds so caring. I can't fall for it. He is a vampire. "Don't worry I won't hurt you. I didn't want to be a vampire either." He says. My eyes widen in shock. "What do you mean?" I ask. He looks down. "Me and my family tried escaping. Ferid caught us and killed all but me and one of them. Luckily he got away. Sadly I was hurt badly and Krul turned me into a vampire to stop me from dying. Said she didn't want me to die because of the seraph in me." He says. I frown. "That is terrible." I say. He looks at me and rubs my head. "Don't worry I won't let them hurt you. I couldn't protect them so I will protect you now." He says. I stand here shocked. "Really? You will protect me?" I ask. He nods. "With my life." He says. I look at him surprised. He seems confused by my reaction. "What is wrong?" He asks. I look down. "No one has cared for me. My parents died when I was a baby. The ones who took me in would hit me. They did when the sickness came." I explain. His eyes widen. "That is horrible!" He says. I look down sadly. "I don't want to be here." I say. Tears fill my eyes and he pulls me into a hug. I bury my head against him and cry. "I am scared." I say. "I know. I am here. We can be a family." He says. I look at him and nod. "Okay." I say. A family. I finally actual have a family. It may only be the two of us but it doesn't matter. He is like me. We were both forced to be food for the vampires then turned into one. "Get some sleep. I will be here when you wake up." He says. I nod and he leads me to the bed. I lay down and he sits beside me. I curl up against him and sleep soon takes over. Only as I fall asleep all I can see is the vampires that took me. 
Next day
Ferid walks in as I sit up from waking up. I tense up and move to the far side of the bed. Mika blocks him from getting to me. "Mika I am here for the both of you not just Kasumi." He says. I breath heavily. "What do you want?" Mika asks. "Queen Krul has requested that both of you come to her." He says. My eyes widen in fear. I don't want to be near her. She drank from my neck and it hurt. She may do it again. "Come on. Be good kids and do as told." He warns. Mika turns to me and nods. "Don't worry I will be here." He says. I nod and he helps me off the bed. We follow Ferid and he leads us from this building back to the other one. As we walk into the big room Krul stands up. I stay close to Mika terrified. "Well looks like you two have bonded." She says. She snaps her fingers and another vampire walks in caring a boy. He is in clothes like Mika. "This is what is called livestock Kasumi. It is our food. All humans are livestock for us." She says. My body shakes as she comes towards us. She grabs the boy and brings him with her. The other vampire leaves and Krul stops in front of us. "You both know you want a sip. Go ahead. Drink." She says. I grit my teeth. His neck is showing and I feel the need to drink from him. I resist knowing it is wrong. I will not drink from a human. I am a human. "No. We won't do it." Mika says. She frowns. "Ferid." She says. He grabs Mika and pulls him away. My eyes widen as I stand here alone. She smiles down at me and holds the boy to me. "Go on Kasumi. Take a drink." She says. I step backwards scared. "I don't want to. I am a human too." I say. She drops him and grabs me. "You are not a human anymore. You and Mika are mainly vampire now." She says. I shake my head fearfully. "Yes you are. All you have to do is drink from a human to become a full vampire." She says. "I don't want to." I say. She looks angry but let's me go. "Well looks like it is going to be a long life of torture for both of you. You can only go so long without blood and you won't always be be near me for me to give you some of mine." She says. I look away from her. "I won't drink human blood. I just won't." I say. "I will change your mind Kasumi." She says. She lifts my head. I look at her scared. She smiles and steps backwards. She grabs the boy and holds him up. My mouth waters as I look at his neck. I want to drink so badly but I resist. She digs her nail into his neck and blood drips down. I freeze and tense up trying to resist it. I look away and ball my fist. "Stop please. I won't do it." I say. She sighs and tosses him aside. She pulls me to her. "You should drink some of my blood then. If you don't you will be in pain." She says. I shake my head. "No." I say. She then goes to move away but my instincts kick in and I can't resist anymore. I bite down on her arm and drink her blood. "That is it. Drink little one." She says. I pull away and look down ashamed of myself. "Don't feel bad that is what you are now. You live off blood now." She says. I grit my teeth and wipe the blood from my mouth. "Mika are you thirsty too?" She asks. I see him looking down. His whole body tensed up. She goes to him and he ends up giving in as well and biting her arm. She has a smile on her face and pets his head. "You both are under my control. My little Mika and Kasumi." She says. I ball my fist up and close my eyes. I hate this so much. We did nothing to them. They have no right to do this to us.
