Dallon once told me, "Love is hard to find when you don't realize that it's love."

I remember looking for love through several people. Hell, at one point even through Dallon. Then it all led back to one person, and one person only.

"Bren?" Ryan waves his hand in front of my face. I jump slightly. It's the end of the week, I am leaving. Ryan was so kind as to drop me off and help me with my bags.

"Sorry," I apologize. It's snowing, we're standing by his car in front of my house.

"You alright?" He asks, placing his hand on my arm. Fuck, fuck, fuck. He looks into my eyes. I find myself so lost in them, him staring back.

"I love you," I say, swallowing the lump in my throat that is trying to choke me, "I'm in love with you."

Ryan pauses, realizing what I just said. God, fuck, ruining it.

"I'm in love with you too, Bren," he says quietly. My heart skips a beat. I wrap my arm around his waist, pulling him in for a kiss. Our lips meet. No one can interrupt us this time, it's all love.

Ryan pushes forward, letting me know he is kissing back. He uses his free hand to place it on the side of my neck.

When we pull away, I feel every emotion exploding.

I grab my bag from his hand.

"Um, I-I'll see you later?" I ask. He chuckles and nods, smiling like an idiot. I walk to the door, stumbling slightly as I smile.

I feel giddy and happy and nice and amazing, and it's all because of one simple thing:

I have fallen in love.
