"You shouldn't go to school if you don't feel well." Arthur says as I stumble over to the chair, trying to get a breath through my nostrils. "I happen to feel fine." I tell him nasally. Wow, don't I sell being healthy? "Breath through your nose and I'll let you go to school." I glare at him for a moment. Usually, kids would be glad to stay home and watch TV, but I find it boring that I can't do anything without bumping into things or focus on my books.
I suck in a breath through my mouth and harshly blow my nose. No air comes through, thus making Arthur smile sadly and feels my forehead. "Bloody, Anna, you're burning up." He says. "Maybe it's just my body heat braking through my cold being." I reply with a cheesy grin. He gets up, going to the doorway and then glances back at me, "Is your brother going to be home today?" I stand on wobbly legs, looking up at the Brit. "What is today?" I ask, blinking at him. He looks down at me, furrowing his bushy eyebrows. "Monday."
"Then, he probably has work." I cough lady likely and try to sniffle. "Okay, go back to bed." He says, turning on the kettle again, "Before I go to work, I'll bring you tea and some medicine." He smiles kindly at me. "Three sugars, right?" I nod, opening my mouth to protest. "And no, you can't go to school if you feel any better." I close my mouth, but then remember that how I'm breathing, and open it again. "Oh, fine, I'll go back to bed." I grumble, turning out of the kitchen. "Don't you look cute this morning." I look up at Alfred, deciding if I should sneeze or not on him for being a douche.
"I'm fine. I just have man flu." I say to him, frowning. "You look like you just crawled back up from hell." Gilbert says, coming to Alfred's other side. "And you have woman flu, since you are definitely a girl." Alfred adds, glancing at my chest. I cover my chest with my arms, heat rising slowly (not that anyone notice because I am burning up) up my neck. "These could be implants." I say nasally. "I doubt it." Gilbert smirks, sending me a wink before walking smugly into the kitchen. Alfred watches me as I glare tiredly after the albino.
"You two seem to bicker a lot." He finally says as I glance back up to him, coughing lightly. "That's the sort of relationship we have. Like, me and you have a... partner in crime relationship." I grin happily, then sneeze. He looks at me with a smirk, "Is that all our relationship is to you?" He moves a curl out of my face. I blink at him, forcing a bored look, "Absolutely." I smirk at him, turning and walking to my room. I take off the cursed school skirt and pull on my cat shorts with a two sizes to big sweater, because they were on my floor from earlier.
I fall on my bed, picking up my phone and staring at PJ Liguori on my lock screen. I unlock my phone, and clicking on Makayla's thingy. 'Sick today, don't bother coming by.' I hit send and curl up my blankets. I stare blankly at my wall with the TV until Arthur walks in with my plain black cup and a medicine bottle under his arm. He's dressed for work now, looking dashing in his teacher attire.
I grumble a greeting as he sets the tea on the night stand closest to my bed. "Okay, just take a swig of this, alright? I know it might taste bitter, but at least it makes you be able to breath again." He smiles kindly, handing me the bottle with cherry red liquid. "I don't want to." I tell him as I turn it in my hand. "Anna Marie, just take it." He says sternly.
I mock him. He rolls his eyes as I unscrew the cap and taste the smell. "The smell taste horrid, Arthur!" I whine as he glares at me with his green eyes. "Just take it and you won't have to take it again." He says, crossing his arms. I sigh, hesitate, and down some of it. "Gross." I shake my head with my tongue out. Arthur rolls his eyes, taking the bottle away and screwing the cap back on. "Do you need anything else?"
"I can do things by myself, Arthur. I've been sick before." I tell him with a weak smile. "Well, I'm up- do you want me to grab anything?" I cross my arms, "Arthur-"
