You rose from your slumber. Trying to remember most of last night, you didn't feel hungover, just...exhausted.
You checked your phone for a lot of messages from Lia Hyun, telling you she wasn't going back to the flat tonight, which meant you could get more shuteye, Lia always got up early, she hates people who sleep in, she finds it...messy.
None from Namjoon, though. You didn't feel the need to text him first, he might still be sleeping, or smashing things.
As you turn over to try sleep in some more, you just couldn't, you had so much energy in you that you couldn't keep your eyes closed. So you got up anyway, dragged yourself to your closet and wore something comfy for throughout the day.
Images of the dark evening walk with Namjoon replayed in your mind, the way he embraced you to keep you warm. When he nervously asked you to dinner, the way he was to caught up in himself that he tripped on his way out. You caught yourself smiling as you ate your cereal. And stopped yourself. After all, Namjoon could have a girlfriend and he might've asked you to dinner as friends.

It was almost half one and you didn't know what to do with yourself. Namjoon hadn't texted, or called, saying that he didn't have your number, just media.
You couldn't open up because the cafe stayed closed today.
You hugged as you scrolled through the TV guide, finding nothing but bollocks.
You decided just to talk to Namjoon you were utterly bored out of your head, got a reply quickly though.

And that was that. He didn't text you back, which meant he could turn up any minute and you'd look like a toad.
"Y/N? Y/N! I'm home!" Came a giddy voice from the hallway. You sat cross legged on the sofa, playing with strands of your hair as your roommate brought bags of clothes through the door. You didn't bother to help her, she'd only go on about how independent she is.
"Where did you go?" You asked, kneeling on the sofa, facing the small island in the kitchen, stealing chips as she planted the bags on the table.
"Shopping. By myself." You looked at her with an awkward face.
"Sorry. You were out all night"
"Because you took ages at the cafe. I thought you came home earlier?" She started, catching her breath.
"Yeah but there's this guy—" you stopped yourself from saying anymore before she went head over heels over Namjoon. The last time you mentioned anybody she wouldn't  get off your back about it.
"Oh. Do spill" she had a wide grin and plopped herself beside you on the sofa.
You looked at how happy she looked. Maybe it'd be different this time. That, or you can't keep you mouth shut.
"Long story short, we're going to dinner tonight. His treat" you said nothing, not a smile, or chuckle, just picked at your nails waiting for a reply.
"Oh, well, cause I'm a good friend and roommate, I'll let you lend a dress, BUT if you ruin it I'll have to drop kick you." She knelt yo to your height.
"Deal." You were interested in what she had in the bags. You watched her rummage, as she pulled out bits of material and accessories, clutches and shoes. Where did she get this money from? Could've swore she's secretly a barrister.
The ruffling of bags stopped. You looked up through a strand of your brunette locks and she was just analysing you, with her dark beady eyes she eyed you up and down.
"Perfect" she finally spoke.
