Prologue

“Leave me alone!”  I screamed storming away from him.  “Don’t touch me!”  I screamed even louder when he attempted to grab my arm.  I heard him sigh in defeat as I left the room, slamming the door behind me as hard as I could, putting up a barrier between us.  I glared at the white door as if it was all its fault that we were fighting even though deep down I knew that it was all me again.  I heard him slump against the door and then a thump as he obviously kicked something.  I rested my back against our barrier and slid onto the floor imagining us back to back, his warmth seeping into my body, thawing out the Ice Queen.

“I love you.”  I heard him say in his deep voice that had the power to give me goosebumps.

“I love you too.”  I whispered back too quiet for him to hear.  A tear escaped from my eyes and I quickly wiped it away.  I really didn’t deserve him and I could never explain to him why because as soon as I did I would lose him forever and I couldn’t cope with losing someone else I love.  Another tear escaped at that thought, then another and another until I was sobbing, my whole body shaking.

“Babe?”  He said his voice so full of concern.  When I didn’t answer he pulled open the door and I fell back into him, his arms instantly wrapping around me, holding me together.  I looked up at his grey eyes which were heavy with worry and then his lips.  I turned around in his arms so that I could reach his mouth kissing him with my salty lips.  He didn’t respond so I deepened the kiss, pressing my body against him passionately.  One of his hands moved lower, gripping my ass, the other cupped the back of my neck as he kissed me back hard.  I wrapped my legs around his waist trying to get even closer to him, our breathing becoming heavier.  “I love you.”  He said as he picked me up and lowered me onto the bed, his grey eyes now filled with lust and love.  I quickly put my lips to his so that I didn’t have to respond and lost myself in him and the tangled of sheets.
