jiyoon's point of view
flashback- 2 months earlier, before the concert.
"i love you but you love him" mark says, holding my hands, "i see the way you look at him and i know i shouldn't step in between that"
"mark,, im sorry" i say tears, threatening to fall, "i didn't want to hurt you, im-" i say before he cuts me off, wiping a tear that fell
"jiyoon, you cant control your feelings, i know you loved me and i loved you. it's just were not meant for each other" he sighs softly, side hugging me
"you're right" i sigh this time, "i couldn't control my feelings, i couldn't control how i felt for you and i couldn't control my feelings for felix" i say "my feelings just kept getting bigger and stronger for him and i couldn't stop them, they wouldn't slow down"
"i understand, i feel the same way towards someone else" he smiles still side hugging me
"to think i was scared to date you bc of that dumb contract" i laugh sitting up, "now look at me, getting into dating scandals- i mean that's a bad bad thing but im not scared anymore"
"aw our girl grew up" mark says to no one in particular
"shut up" i say smiling "thank you mark, you're always there for me whenever i need you" i hug him one more time
"jiyoon, you're always there for me too so of course id be there for you" he nudges me "now go before you're late for your concert, i heard felix is coming"
"he is, but we must be lowkey. don't tell anyone we talked!" i say sternly, he nods "ok bye mark!" i say running off
