» Ep. 14 «

"Hey Daniel. Do you mind if we study together for exams?" You smiled, walking up to Daniel who was gathering his stuff to head home. "Study? Well..I guess it's okay." Daniel nodded, giving a small smile of his own.

"Ah great. Can we head to your place?" You didn't want to bring Daniel to your home, since it was one of the most biggest homes, which made sense, since it was quite expensive and luxurious.

Daniel thought a bit before thinking it was okay and sighed a bit. "Sure. Let's go then."

You and Daniel were currently heading up the hill, which you didn't mind that it took a bit of time. You enjoyed the scenery. "So, Y/n, can you tell me more about yourself? I heard you were a model.." Daniel spoke and you gave him a glance before facing the path.

"Yeah. I'm a model for my parents. My parents are both models, and now, they're currently moving to the business industry. I think my mother was thinking of being a fashion designer too." You answered, looking down a bit as you walked.

Daniel noticed something, as if you were upset, but didn't say anything. "That's really interesting. So, does that mean that you wanted to follow in their footsteps, and that's why you became a model?"

You hid a frown, letting your hair cover your face. Even though you were cynical, you had a lot of trust in Daniel as you did in Mira.

"No...the thing is, my parents told me to be a model. They forced me too..they told me everything that I have to do, such as, what I eat, what I wear, what I do..They want more attention to come to me.." You quietly explained, quite upset already, your voice almost in a whisper.

You weren't that sensitive, but when it came to a certain topic, you would break quite easily, and this is one of them. Although, if it was something that was rude, you would become angry, but if you were upset, you'd cry silently.

Daniel stayed silent, unsure of what to say as he glanced over at you. He noticed how quiet you were, and he felt pity and sympathy towards you, and felt like hugging you to his chest, petting your hair and whispering to you that it was okay.

Over the while, when you were by him, he had started to grow fond of you, starting to develop feelings, which he didn't realize.

You sighed and looked up. "It doesn't matter though. It's just the world of realism, right?" You let out a dry laugh, straining a smile as you glanced at him, him a bit shocked at you as he frowned.

He was about to say something, but you both made it to his home and Daniel stood there, a bit confused.

"What's wrong?" You asked, glancing at him as Daniel just gave a nervous small smile. "Nothing.."

Daniel slowly opened the door and saw a woman there with the little chubby male from before and you were shocked to see him.

Daniel was shocked to see his mother, surprised on why she was here. "Mom?"

The woman glanced up and turned, giving a confused reply. "Yes?..you are?....who are you?"

Daniel was now sweating, a bit nervous as he immediately changed his wording. "H-Hello, ma'am. You must be Daniel's mother. I've heard a lot about you."

You were completely confused, such as the woman.

"Oh, so..in order to save rent, you both are living as roommates? And Daniel is sleeping until his part time job?" The woman asked, and Daniel nervously nodded. "Y-Yes."

You sat silently, still confused as Daniel said he would explain soon, so you just shrugged it off, sitting beside him with your bag beside you.

"Daniel works to pay his living expenses." Daniel insisted, letting out a nervous laugh, and was surprised when the mother suddenly smiled.

"My boy..he's all grown up."

"Having a roommate to save rent..getting a job..studying all the while." The mother then smile more. "Ah, so what is your name?"

"O-oh, I'm also Daniel Park." The mother gasped, grinning. "What a coincidence! I do see the resemblance. And who are you?"

You gave a kind smile, bowing your head slightly. "Hello Ma'am. I'm Y/n L/n, a friend of both Daniel's." You gestured to both of them and she just smiled, not having heard of your name very much.

"You both are so kind! Being friends with my Daniel! And so..do you two have time to chat? I wanna hear about Daniel."

You and Daniel shared a glance and once Daniel tried to speak, saying they actually had to study, you spoke before him. "Sure, we don't mind."

Daniel looked at you and gave a small grateful smile, glad you was willing to study another time.

The three of you walked towards the cafe and went inside. "Wah..the two of you are quite tall.." You just gave a small laugh. "You think so?"

As you three walked in, customers in the Star Coffee Cafe were whispering, wide eyed and gasping, as usual.

"So beautiful.."
"Are they models?"
"Unbelievable."

Jace, a barista at the cafe was currently cleaning cups and gave a smile to the door when he heard the bell jingle. "Welcome!"

He was shocked and widened his eyes to see the two new transfers. "It's them! The transfers!"
