El, open the door. '

Eden skipped the rest of the day, heading over to the Byers place to try and find Jonathan so she could kick his arse. But, with Billy's confession whirling around in her head, her mind was in two places; fighting over which situation was more important. She turned into the Byers' driveway and parked next to Joyce's car, her best friend's no where to be found. She sighed as she shut off her engine, sliding out of the car and striding up to the door.

She opened the door and walked right on in, stumbling backwards in shock as she looked around the place. There were lines of black scribbles everywhere, all connecting into what looked like vines; taped all over the walls, floors and ceilings. She looked over it all with concern, it looked like a nervous breakdown. The girl stepped over a line of paper, looking into the lounge room where it was exactly the same.

'Eden, what are you doing here?' Joyce asked as she stepped out of Will's room.

'Uh, I was just coming to see if Jonathan was ok?' She replied as she tried to keep her eyes on the woman and not the drawings.

Joyce shook her head and took a long blink, 'Jonathan said he was staying at yours tonight.'

Betrayal and shock flowed through the Lawson girl's body as she looked at the woman, before she quickly cover it up.

'Sorry, I meant Will,' She shook her head with a smile; 'Sorry, I'm so used to coming over here for Jonny. How's Will?'

'He's not doing so good, he's resting so it's probably not the best for you to be here. He's had a long night,' Joyce smiled weakly.

'Oh, of course. Sorry, for barging in.'

'No. No, it's ok. Our home is your home.'

'Thanks. Uh, I'll see you later and let me know if you need anything. Tell Will I said hi.'

Eden headed for the door, before she paused and turned back to face the woman.

'Actually, do you know where Hopper is?' She asked.

'He headed out on a call,' Joyce replied.

'Oh, ok. Thanks.'

She headed out of the house and to her car, quickly getting into her car before reversing out of the driveway. Her tires kicked up dirt as she slammed her foot down on the accelerator, flying out of the driveway and onto the road. She rounded the cal-de-sac on the short street across town, pulling up out the front of the Wheeler's place.

Eden slid out of the car and walked down the small incline to the front door, knocking lightly. It was a few seconds before the door clicked unlock and opened, Mrs Wheeler standing in the doorway. The woman looked over her as though she was some peasant scumb, before putting on a fake smile as she looked back up at her face.
