' I'm not leaving my car here for some alien to use as a chew toy. '

Eden stood when the others did, watching them turn to the door. She threw her hands up in the air when they all strode toward it, Jonathan pulling it open; striding into the woods. She followed them until the doorway, hanging off it as she looked outside.

'Yeh, terrific idea,' She called; 'Let's go toward the creepy noises. Have you not watched any horror films?'

'Eden, come on,' Will waved her on over his shoulder.

She groaned, running after the large group to try and catch up; her limp evident in her stride. She slowed to a walk behind them, her jaw dropping at the sight of the large, dark shadow stumbling through the trees. It looked like a giant spider, it's head huge and legs thick. That was when her mind flicked back to a drawing she'd seen at the Byers, one Will had drawn. It looked exactly like what was before them.

'What the fuck?' She whispered.

The creature let out a screech, causing her to wince at the high pitch noise.

'Everyone, go,' Nancy turned and began to usher them in.

'Block all the windows, the doors-' Jonathan listed.

'Just barricade the whole house.'

'What will you be doing?' Mike asked.

'Finding Hopper's guns,' Eden shoved him toward the stairs.

She and Nancy headed to the back shed, yanking open the doors. They strode in together, eyes raking over the walls and floor. Nancy took a large shot gun she spotted in the corner, loading it up as Eden stood by another; staring at it, unable to move.

'Grab it and let's go,' Nancy urged.

She swallowed, 'I don't know how to use it.'

'What?'

'You hard of hearing? I don't know how to use a fucking gun.'

'Y-You said-'

'I never said. Don't you think if I knew how to use a gun, I would've shot my father by now, Nancy? Come on, it can't be that hard.'

'Eden!'

'Teach me how to shoot a gun! Like, a quick run down.'

'We don't have time!'

'Come on!'

She snatched the gun off the ground and held it like they did in the movies she'd seen, motioning for Nancy to hurry up. The girl let out a flustered noise, grunting as she stepped forward. She quickly taught Eden the bets she could under the pressure she was in, quickly dragging her forward to the house when she was done.
