' She wasn't asking you, Harrington. '

Eden sat herself in Billy's lap as he sat in the couch, his arm wrapping around her waist as she pulled his cigarette from between his lips. Mike paced the floor before them as Lucas and Max swept up the glass from the window, looking up at him annoyed.

'Mike, my friend,' The girl called; 'Chill. Please. Do you want a smoke to calm you down?'

'Don't do it,' Steve called from the kitchen.

'She wasn't asking you, Harrington,' Billy called back.

'Mike, would you just stop already?' Lucas snapped as he stood up.

'You weren't in there, okay, Lucas? That lab is swarming with hundreds of those dogs,' Mike exclaimed.

'Demodogs!' Dustin corrected form the next room.

'The chief will take care of her,' Lucas stated.

'Like she needs protection,' Max muttered at the same time Billy did.

The Lawson girl laughed quietly to herself, waving her boyfriend off when he looked at her oddly.

'Listen, dude, a coach calls a play in a game, bottom line, you execute it. All right?' Steve stated as he walked into the room with Dustin.

'Okay, first of all, this isn't some stupid sports game. And second, we're not even in the game. We're on the bench,' Mike snapped as he finally stopped pacing.

'So my point is... My point is...'

'Your point is?' Eden pressed.

'Uh... Right, yeah, we're on the bench, so, uh, there's nothing we can do.'

'That's not entirely true,' Dustin chimed, catching everyone's attention; 'I mean, these Demo-dogs, they have a hive mind. When they ran away from the bus, they were called away.'

'If we get their attention,' Lucas started.

'Maybe we can draw them from the lab,' Max continued.

'Clear a path to the gate,' Mike finished.

'Yeah, and then we all die,' Steve exclaimed.

'That's one point of view,' Billy pointed out.

'No, that's not a point of view. That's a fact.'

'I got it!' Mike cheered as he walked into the next room and crouched down by a part of the tunnel; 'This is where the chief dug his hole. This is our way into the tunnel. So... Here, right here.'

The boy walked back into the lounge room, standing upon the huge chamber where a series of tunnels met.

'This is like a hub,' He explained; 'So you got all the tunnels feeding in here. Maybe if we set this on fire-'
