Dear Diary:                                                                   February 26, 2014

So I'm so excited! The day has finally arrived! Leah and Keith got married! EEEEEEK! I'm sure you all know that I didn't allow either of them on the reservation until I had gotten everything perfect and it was 2 days before when everyone started to arrive. Rogue as promised, fixed the weather so that it would be nice and mild but still cloudy so we wouldn't do our sparkling thing. Now what in the hell went on while Jasper and I were gone is beyond me; a pterodactyl? Really? Keith showed me a photo he took of the thing as it was his first time seeing one too. Holy crap! I wondered out loud why I hadn't seen it in a vision but Rogue explained that because it came from another dimension, I would never see anything. Peachy; another thing to worry about not seeing! Ugh!

Anywho, enough with the creepy. I know you guys want to know all about the stunning wedding I put together! Carlisle got his diary jacked again; hehehehehe. Well Leah being Leah wanted simple and plus on the reservation so I couldn't do anything way extravagant. Keith of course would only do whatever made his future bride happy. So the theme was "Coral Paradise". Turns out that the dress and accessories I had picked out for Leah on the eve Keith proposed on Rogue's Isle, ended up really playing into the whole theme of the wedding. They wanted to remember that special evening so everything was coral and I mean everything; well save for her dress and stuff. Her dress was and is stunning. I wasn't sure what she would want but she said lace and a bit of bling. So we decided on a take on Kate Middleton's dress. It was very simple, elegant, and made Leah look regal.

Since the night of their engagement, she wore wedges; she had actually gotten used to them and wanted her shoes to be lace wedges which I found that fit her dress perfectly. Her bouquet was white and coral too. Her something old was her engagement ring as it was an heirloom, something new was her wedding dress, something borrowed was the veil from an aunt, and something blue was a handkerchief that was Emily's actually. So we had all of those bases covered as well. Next came the placement of ceremony and reception. As it had been raining for weeks, the beach was wet and soggy so we couldn't have the ceremony right on the sand which is what they wanted, but I did them one better. I found a beautiful tree that overlooked a bluff onto the water and set up the ceremony there. The Denali's who came down a week earlier to help me (as well as get the whole wolves phasing under control), were all putting these long lighting rods on the tree to make it look like the tree was glowing from an interior sun. Plus Tanya, Kate, Carmen, and I created a flower arch for them to stand under to get married.

The reception was held inside a Quileute temple but it still had the coral paradise theme because each table had an umbrella over it with faux grass around the top of it so it would really give it that island feel. And the table clothes, napkins, and even the cake had coral elements. So it was very simple and elegant. In other words, it was Leah and Keith. Maid of Honor was Bella as promised with Emily as matron of honor while Nessie and yours truly were the bridesmaids. I was honored to be asked. We all wore coral and red short fitting dresses with dark orange wedges. The men's side consisted of Peter as best man and Alexander, Jacob, and Seth as groomsmen. Their suits were gray except for the coral ties and flowers in the lapels. Keith's tie was just a more reddish shade of coral, otherwise everyone looked the same.

I would have to say it was a very cohesive wedding. Even though it seemed like everything was coral, it really wasn't and that color accented the whole wedding wonderfully. You know me, even though I love to go all out, the last thing I want people to say is that coral threw up all over the event. As if! The guests included everyone from NH and Alaska, all of Leah's friends and family as well as Watchers we've never met before that were friends of Keith's. There were approximately 150 people which is a nice sized wedding. The honeymoon was to be in England and Leah's Passport had arrived the day before so she was ready to set off on her adventure. She will tell you all about that in the next entry.
