I indirectly asked my mom if I could go see Infinity War. Here is how the conversation went down.
Me: "Hey so the new Marvel movie that came out looks really interesting."
Mom: "What Marvel movie?"
Me: "The Infinity War one."
Mom: "Oh. Well, you don't even like Marvel."
Me: "Actually I've seen some of the movies with Dad and they were interesting. And I saw the trailers and they were really good." (I wasn't about to tell her that I saw the rest of the movies online for free lol)
Mom: "Are you hinting that you'd like to go see it?"
Me, awkwardly, "Well, maybe."
Mom: "And who would you even go with?"
Me: *silent*
Mom: "So there you go, then."
Me: "But I could go with Dad or Grandma-"
Mom: "He doesn't need to sit around and watch a movie. And Grandma only likes Iron Man. It's okay, you'll se it eventually on tv or something."
