I saw the trailer and the movie looks like it's gonna be SOOOOO GOOOD! I'm super excited for her character and all that. Like you can just tell by LOOKING at her that she's gonna be so awesome and powerful.
HOWEVER
I keep hearing people talk about how they want her to be the one to defeat Thanos in A4.

(Probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but you know what it'S FINE)
Have you all forgotten about literally every other character that exists in the MCU?
Personally, I would LOVE to see it be Tony. The MCU has been built on his legacy, and he's literally the one who started it all. Not Gamora or Nebula (#unpopularopinion), not Captain Marvel - Tony Stark.
(And keep in mind, Steve is actually my favorite. So.)
I understand that Carol Danvers is immensely powerful. That's cool, that's great, and we stan a powerful kween. But we DON'T stan a brand new character defeating the villain that's been traumatizing Tony Stark for six years (and will be eleven by A4 if they still fast forward five years). Tony deserves his revenge and personally I want to see him take that ugly rasin DOWN. Not an ultra powerful person from "the great beyond", but the man who's not an enhanced human and is just a normal, smart guy in a suit HE made to help people.
And if not Tony Stark, then can it at LEAST be all of the original Avengers? Like I just wanna see them all team up one last time and just beat the everloving crap out of Thanos, and give Tony the kill shot.
AT LEAST GIVE US ONE LAST TEAM UP BEFORE YOU KILL THEM ALL OFF, RUSSOS.
PLEASE.
Also a lot of people want it to be Gamora and Nebula who kill Thanos, and I get that. I do. They were tortured by him their entire lives. So I completely get why people want it to be them. No hate towards the peeps who want it to be them.
For me it's just a personal preference. The Guardians will be around for a while after A4, whereas A4 is gonna be the last time we see all of the original Avengers together. THAT'S why I want it to be the original Avengers/mostly Tony Stark to kill Thanos. Gamora and Nebula will have SO many other opportunities to get their revenge and in SO many different ways that it just seems silly to give them the big moment. Especially when it's the last time we're going to see all of the og Avengers together.
And I swear if Carol ends up being the one to kill Thanos I'm gonna walk outta that theater. Ok not really but I'm gonna be REAL upset if it's not Tony/the og Avengers.
Also I'm actually SO nervous for A4 like you guys have NO idea I'm gonna be so emotionally scarred, especially when Steve and Tony die becAUSE WE ALL KNOW IT'S GONNA HAPPEN
