Chapter 8

-Sato's POV-

It was late in the evening and I and Takagi were walking over to the Kudo mansion. There was not a single soul on the street leaving behind a defining silence. This whole situation was so confusing. I knew Christie was different but just how different was she. When we approached the Kudo mansion Christie was waiting in the doorway staring out blankly.

-Christie's POV-

In the distance, I could see Takagi and Sato approaching. Sato looked as if she was deep in thought not noticing the quick glances Takagi was sending her. When they reached the door I silently turned around and started walking towards the library. Sato and Takagi hesitated for a moment before following me.

This situation is a complete and utter mess. It seems as though I can't keep my secret anymore; people just keep on finding out about it. Haibara's so gonna kill me.

-Christie POV end-

Waiting in the library was Jodie-sensei, Akai-san, Camel-san and James-san. Jodie then steps forward slowly explaining about the Black Organisation and what they are known for. Sato asks a lot of questions making the whole process longer while Takagi sits in the corner nervously. Once the FBI agents finish explaining the BO they swear Takagi and Sato to secrecy making sure they don't mention them to anyone.

Christie who was standing in the corner slowly approached Takagi and Sato asking them to follow her. Both slowly stood up from where they were sitting unsure of what was going to happen next. They walked through the empty corridors of the Kudo mansion until they stopped before a tiny room. In the tiny room was an array of monitors crammed onto a desk with a microphone in the room leftover. Next to the desk were two big speakers connected to all the other equipment.

"I brought you in here to explain how I know about the Black Organisation and answer any more questions you have," Christie said in a serious voice.

"Why didn't you explain your story in the other room instead of taking us in here?" Sato asked confused with the whole situation.

"Some of the people in there don't know because they don't need to know this secret which involves other people."

"Then why are you telling us?" Sato asked.

"You deserve to know and it will make everything a bit more clear."

"Ok so how are you involved?" Sato asked taking the lead for her and Takagi in the conversation.

"I went to Tropical land one day and I saw a couple of suspicious men all in black. Later in the evening one of them was running out the way of everyone else behind a building; finding him suspicious I decided to follow. I saw an illegal interaction take place. When I was about to leave and inform the police, the person's partner came up from behind and hit me with a metal pipe. They fed me a poison called APTX4869 because they couldn't use their guns with all of the police officers walking around, due to a recent murder, so they decided to test the drug out on me. In the end, it didn't kill me but it shrunk my body down to the size of a seven-year-old."

"Then who are you or were you before?"

"Shinichi Kudo"

"HUH!?" Both Sato and Takagi exclaimed surprised by the information.

"That's why we are here. The people who don't know my secret think we are here because this is where Akai-san is staying, but I'm surprised you didn't figure it out soon especially you Takagi-Keiji." Christie said in a matter of fact voice.
